In his work, J.L Dillard puts forward a whole new treatment in the understanding of “Black English” that is bound to change a history of racial perception toward the people and community for which the civil rights movement came to being. According to Dillard, “Black English reveals the greatest difference from white American dialects – and the closes resemblance to its pidgin and Creole ancestors in its system of verbs.” Black English, however, is not considered a language with which a notion of qualified standards can be met especially when it comes to designating one that may be adapted as part of the mediums of instruction known.
