Instruction Sunnyfields Leaflet Analysis Introduction The Sunnyfields seeks to provide year 6 with memorable experiences in both academic and extra curriculum activities. The fact that the initial six years in school determine the level of achievement that students can achieve. This has been the motivation for Sunnyfields to grant the year six students with a range of activities that have the potential of fostering their academic capacities as well as imparting other skills. This paper will highlight the programs organized by Sunnyfields and their objectives. Brief Overview of your Leaflet The leaflet highlights many aspects that seek to enlighten both students and parents on the available resources for improving the experience of year six students. The introductory part of the leaflet highlights the driving force of Sunnyfields which is the fact that each student has an intrinsic capacity inherent since birth and requires nurturing for them to utilize their potential to the maximum level. However, the school environment lacks the potential of providing sufficient resources for children to nurture all their talents. The focus of Sunnyfields is year 6 students who are in their final year of studies. As the leaflet highlights, year six students require advanced preparation for the next level of studies. They face a surging pressure of succeeding in their statutory assessment tests (SATs). Sunnyfields realized that schools focused on motivating other students for these exams taken in May while assuming the surging need for year 6 students to receive worthwhile encouragement and assistance in preparation for these critical tests that reflect the ability of students. Sunnyfields comes in to offer students an opportunity to prepare adequately for the SATs. The program of preparing students for these examinations usually factor in multiple considerations to ensure that each student receives a lot of attention. On the other hand, Sunnyfields provides platforms for year 6 students to develop a diverse range of skills and have fun. There is a range of clubs and groups that focus on different interests of the students. Through registration, students can have the opportunity of developing indispensable skills as well as having thrilling experiences alongside their friends. Moreover, year 6 students can register for a breakfast program that focuses on offering students with a nutritious diet that presents them with all the nutritional requirements for maximizing their learning experience. The objectives of Sunnyfields are in line with the theory developed by Piaget that schemata are critical in the development of children. Through these mental orders, children exhibit the capacity of learning new skills. Aspects of Learning and Teaching The most critical aspect of learning offered by the Sunnyfields is the program that seeks to provide students with an opportunity of familiarizing themselves with the new format for the statutory assessment programs. The program offers sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for about ten students to meet in the library with access to multiple resources for their tuition classes. The limited number of students helps the students to receive personalized help from the qualified staff who exhibit expertise and awareness of the new aspects tested in the SATs as evident in the Chace Community Schoolwebsite. The sessions equip students with adequate knowledge and information enabling them to excel in their exams.During these sessions, students can pose any question or concern and receive assistance. The club offers students with scientific interest to build a strong foundation for their future careers. Moreover, students have an opportunity to develop film making skills such as editing, camera operation and directing. In addition, students in this club have the chance of building future career in the media industry as well as the development of other critical skills such as communication, literary competence, technology skills, and creative thinking proving to be a worthwhile challenge for the students. Parents offering their children an opportunity to participate in the film production challenging opportunities foster the growth of creativity in their children through the rigorous process. The cooking and gardening clubs also present the students with an invaluable opportunity to develop additional skills. In all these club activities, students learn and develop their talents. There is a qualified staff team that offers instruction to the students. These instructors often focus on offering personalized attention to year 6 students empowering them to excel in all their activities. An additional learning opportunity is available for year 6 students, and seeks to address their need to transition from the initial six years of their schooling program to high school. According to Sunnyfields, year 6 students seek to have prior knowledge and awareness of the challenges and learning curriculum expected in high school. Therefore, as the leaflet mentions, there is a program that prepares year 6 students for their next level in high school.The trip to France presents participating students with a chance to improve their competence in the French language from the teachers who instruct language classes. The multi-faith assembly is also an interactive learning session that encourages students to have an interchange of information related to different religions. Extra-curricular Activities Sunnyfields also realizes the need for students to receive opportunities for developing extra-curricular skills. It is good for children of this age to have the freedom of interacting with the environment so that they make new discoveries on how things operate. Sunnyfields realizes the need for students to begin nurturing their talents at a young age; apparently, students need to develop critical skills apart from the curriculum requirements. It offers students an opportunity to build skills and talents that can augment their academic excellence. Moreover, some students may prove gifted in co-curricular activities and the exposure from Sunnyfields helps them to find their place in life. The openings offered in the extra-curricular sector are of critical importance to such students helping them recognize their potential and focus on developing the talent. This trip is a fascinating experience for students coupled with learning experiences. The practice of the French language is also an interesting experience for the students. Being an interactive session, the students can exchange ideas as they enjoy the delicious foods and learn from the qualified French teachers. Finally, the blogging activity is a source of fun and improves their creativity. Parental Partnership and Pupil Support Apparently, there are charges for most of these programs and parents need to support their children financially in order for them to participate and benefit from both the curricular and co-curricular activities. The parents need to take note of all the timelines for making payments. This will serve to ensure that the students can access the limited spaces offered for some programs. The pupils have to exploit the opportunities and benefit fully from the diverse programs. Other activities like the charity event need commitment from the pupils for them to succeed. With the dedication from both parents and pupils, year 6 pupils can be sure to gain insightful and intriguing experiences from Sunnyfields. My Learning from the Leaflet The leaflet is highly informative because it describes all the programs offered by Sunnyfields. Under each topic, I spotted a brief description of the activity and its potential benefits to the participating students. It becomes evident that there are multiple groups and clubs targeting the year 6 students, and designed to impart them with knowledge and new skills. I realized that Sunnyfields seeks to improve the learning experience of students in the classroom setting and augment it with other activities outside the classroom that provide them opportunities of nurturing talents. The leaflets highlight the session durations and all the objectives of each club and group. Though it offers information in a concise manner, all the information and details provided exhibit clarity.
