Critical thinking helps improve the individual basic academic success both in the teaching and learning process. Through the use of critical thinking, a person can improve their communication skills as it encourages them to be able to determine the best way to learn effectively and be able to transfer this knowledge into something more useful and rewarding.
As Valdez said, “Educators must prepare for a technology-rich future and keep up with change by adopting effective strategies that infuse lessons with appropriate technologies”(MSC ). The use of technology in the learning process not only facilitates easy learning but also helps to develop a scientific temperament in the students.
Another area of interest is in Power Electronics where I would like to research better and more reliable ways to design, analyze and control switching power converters. I am very flexible and remain open to other topics in addition to these. It is my utmost wish to undertake research leading towards a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
The policy needs to be bolstered by a rigorous testing program that evaluates the student's skills in speaking in an international business context. Without a commitment to these programs, Korea will continue to lag the rest of the industrialized world in the English language proficiency that is required in this age of globalization.
The role of the teacher as a facilitator is to be either a meta-cognitive coach or cognitive coach to the students instead of the traditional knowledge-disseminator to the learners. (Edelson et al., 1996: 151 - 164) The facilitator could provide the students with an integrated online resource that can enable the students to easily solve the case problem given to them.
Children who have intellectual disabilities need support in skill and academics development. These kinds of disabilities have a considerable effect on the educational performance of a child, its expressive and receptive language ability, economic independence, and capability for living independently.
