College schooling is expensive, especially if you are pursuing a problematic course such as engineering or law. A lot of families, for decades now, have been able to enroll their children in university by asking for loans from lenders from financial organizations and the federation. Getting grants and loans helps students to afford to pay their school schooling since their parent’s income alone might not be enough to support their training. Since achieving higher public schooling has now been considered challenging for many individuals, it is essential to make it free or affordable for individuals.

Since a lot of individuals are interested in achieving higher learning, learners should be paying a reasonable tuition fee. Getting free tuition will give a lot of individuals the chance to go to university other than going to the workforce straight without any level of competency. University schooling is essential to help in achieving a significant literacy level in society. A considerably educated population is capable of initiating considerable development in society more compared to the one with illiterate individuals.

Apart from that, it will be easier for people to make proper decisions if they are educated. The level of schooling in a country is seen from the kind of system that is followed by universities. If more people are educated, the families become literate and capable of producing a workforce that can take the available high-paying jobs. So, to be able to educate more people, tuition fees have to be reduced to make it easier for people to afford the required schooling. As mentioned earlier, courses such as medicine are expensive to afford for most individuals.

In that case, if a country needs more doctors, there is a need to reduce the training fee. Since college asks huge schooling fees, most ambitious students are forced to drop out. Making learning affordable by asking for reasonable training fees can potentially reduce the stress of seeking more funds for education. In that case, a lot of individuals will be able to graduate after the required time to take the available job opportunities in society. Moreover, the rate at which individuals graduate from college will significantly be boosted when the burden of paying fees is eliminated from the equation.

As such, this will be advantageous to the economy, and individuals in America will go funds to cater to other needs apart from education. A lot of individuals are forced to ask for loans with high interests since there insufficient scholarship opportunities for all. Irrespective of that, a lot of individuals are still not able to complete their fees due to huge tuition fees they have to pay for the college education. Although financial assistance from lenders is essential, this aid is not offered as expected.

In that case, students still end up accumulating a lot of fees even after they’ve graduated from college. A lot of college students that come from top high schools in America aren’t able to afford education from challenging public universities and college due to the enormous fees required for them to pay. Apart from that, those from low-income families are forced to stay at home or pursue courses from less-prestigious colleges that typically offer minimum chances to develop their interests.

In that case, this continues to extend the wide gap between those that go to prestigious colleges and those who go to ‘families’ schools. The families ought to understand that free education is essential for all. It helps the less financially-advantaged to afford higher education. High prices asked by colleges shut doors for those from the vulnerable communities, which incredibly widens the gap of illiteracy. If a student graduates with high college loans, he or she will find it challenging to own a property or accumulate wealth since there is a financial burden to be eliminated first.

So, to enable learners to pursue their interest in a better future, college schooling should be affordable for all. In conclusion, it is essential to secure enough funds to build enough public universities and colleges that will be tuition-free. Although the idea of free tuition is not a novel concept in schools, it still has not been embraced by colleges and universities. If countries accept the plan, learners will be able to graduate from schools with low or no student debts. Oregon is one of the states that have implemented free public college programs for their undergraduates.

Due to the evident success of these programs, a lot of states in America are looking forward to passing legislation that will allow schools to be affordable for all. In return, this will enhance the level of literacy in the community.
