Where do I see myself in 5 years - Essay Example

These steps will be my beginning in reaching and achieving my expectations for my son and me. The choices I make now will directly be reflected in the future. It is now the time to start making more serious and responsible decisions. Decisions that will help me achieve the best future for my child and me. Making my child and those around me happy are my goals. At this point, I am confused about what to choose, what to do with my future, and what will make me elated. Up until now, I have not been able to set my expectations straight.

 My life is some practice. I have realized that I have been living a straining life for a future that I have not even begun taking care of. It has now dawned on me that I need to start working on my life. I need to work hard to give my child a better future by working towards providing him with the best education there is. My kid will have the best, more than I had. This alone can give me more zeal to provide and make my son happy. Therefore, Where do I see myself in 5 years? The essay will have covered all my worries.

All I want is to be able to live as per the expectations I have for my son and me.  Failing to meet this expectation and making my lad happy will be a failure to me. This is something that I will not be able to live with, let alone forgive myself for it. Living with this guilt will be impossible. I have to, therefore, a balance between living my own life, my child’s, supporting and taking care of those around me as well. The past two years have taught me a lot about myself. Things I had not learned about myself until this great realization moment.

I have learned that the challenges have only taught me to be stronger and not weak. My lad is my most significant encouragement, and he keeps me going on. If he was not here for with, I do not know where I would be. Nobody knows about what is yet to come; all we can do is look back and see the improvements we have made. All I know is, two decades from now, I’ll look back at my steps and pat myself in the back as a proud father. For me to reach here, I will not give up. Five years from now, I will have been able to meet all my expectations in life for my child and me.
