My Writing Experiences - Essay Example

Here is my writing experience essay. The first thing we did was to write the article in Turkish and then translate it into English. During this process, students made a lot of mistakes, which was of much help to us since everyone learned from their own mistakes. Translating essays also helps students learn a new language. These essays were concerning either a book you read, a subtopic from the syllabus, or a movie the lecturer told us to watch. The teacher would emphasize on following of the grammatical and punctuation guidelines even though we didn't comprehend these rules.

This gave us a chance to come across all writing rules. During this time, I felt limited when composing since I didn't have much knowledge on how to write a composition. Secondly, I was never excited when composing. This is because I had a feeling that I was being pushed into something unwillingly. I never thought a time would come when I should write about a topic that excited me on my wish. During the four years I spent in school, and it's hard to remember even a single essay I wrote since much of them were not that exciting.

I felt some change in the second year. This is because the teacher came and introduced some new exciting topics. We could write essays, and then he could tell us to exchange our articles with our friends and thereby to see their mistakes and learn from them. In some cases, the teacher would ask us to read and analyze a composition he wrote so that we could learn and understand the different ideas regarding essay composing and the specifics an essay must contain. I have not contended with the whole composting thing, but I liked the teacher somehow.

Getting into the campus, I got the chance to express myself through my writings, and I got the opportunity to enjoy myself. The university teachers educated me on the new methods regarding essay composition. They were of much help in my creating career. The teacher emphasized the process of brainstorming before we could begin the composing process. This helps a lot by making writing much easier than before, where it was tough to express all my ideas and emotions in an article. The teacher gave us the freedom to write freely while expressing my feelings.

It is by the use of creating that we get the opportunity to display our tangible looks and our personality as writers and, most notably, the person we are today. I do appreciate my English teacher today for the chance he gave me. I can exhibit my emotions in an essay freely. The education I have gotten through my school has all the technical abilities needed to write successfully. Nevertheless, one ought to be eager to learn through the writing process. I have the self-confidence needed to write all types of essays, and I can convey my thoughts in a freer manner than in the past.

If I become a teacher in the future, I know I will have the skills to educate others on the composting process and make sure my students enjoy themselves.
