Three Professions within the Film Industry.
Journalism and mass media communication encompasses various professions, all of which require a certain level of knowledge and experience to excel and possibly gain recognition. As a film enthusiast, I have chosen to delve into three professions within the industry that are neither widely known nor receive appreciation, for this assignment, I have chosen to look at gaffers, key grip and boom operators.
What kind of theorist am I?
Communication theory has become one of the significant fields of studies that attempt to reveal the technical process of information and human communication across varied sectors. Communication is significant in the contemporary business world; thus, it is defined as the interaction process or transmission of information, emotions, ideals and skills from one person to another by use of symbols such as words, pictures, graphs and many others.
Whether domestic or wild, animals deserve to be given attention. Neglecting and treating them in a cruel manner is not the right thing to do. The increased instances of animal cruelty have prompted the establishment of groups, organizations and foundation aimed at mitigating this menace.
The Structure of language determines the way that speakers of that language view the world. When one is reading about how people communicate in different cultures and the words they use to communicate, one cannot help but wonder how evolution can bring such a difference in the way we pass around the same piece of information (Warren & Deanna, 2011).
The presence of unemployment in the People’s Republic of China has led brought about the growth of personal challenges for unemployed workers and human resource policy challenges for the government. Since the mass media explosion of the twentieth century, a staggering amount of violence was made available to every person worldwide. The rise in availability came with a subsequent rise in violence in programs that had adverse effects on society. Accumulated evidence pointed that there was a “causal connection between media violence and aggressive behavior in some children”.
Then she goes on to say how she has finally come to terms with the fact that thin people were put on earth to ridicule the unfortunate, fat ones. I do tend to agree with her on this one.
