Systematic approaches were utilized in coming up with solutions for the problems that were posed to us for resolution. These were applied to develop skills for future resolution if such a problem presented against us again. The first activity involved the building of a truss bridge whose draft was started for implementation. 

The fire resistance testing is effectively conducted in a laboratory that meets the national standards of holding fire tests and is accredited to certify the given system or product if it meets the building code conditions. Therefore, the laboratory testing and certification of various products lead to the creation of the certification listings.

The paper “Trekker’s Hut on a Walking Track in the Australian Alps”  is an outstanding example of a report on engineering and construction. Alpine Trekking Pty Ltd has proposed to construct trekker’s hut at a specific site on a walking track in the Australian Alps. The trekker’s hut will be of a wooden A-frame supporting a steel roof with two side walls within the A-frame.

The aims and objectives of this report are to show the comprehensive nature of building development in the Australian state of Victoria and to identify different institutions that offer design services, building information, and building-related information in Victoria.

The paper "Smoke Control Strategy in a High-Rise Building" is a great example of a report on engineering and construction. Evacuation of occupants from high-rise buildings remains a key priority in the unfortunate event of a fire incidence. Small office-based networks are designed usually for those organizations, which are established in a hall. It is necessary for a small office to have a network instead of going to a specific computer in a room to perform specific tasks.

The production of auto parts through the use of additive manufacturing is also a green process since it is associated with minimal emissions, waste, and consumption of natural resources. The paper  “Building an International Standards Football Stadium in the Yas Island”  is a worthy example of an engineering and construction business plan. This project entails building an international standards football stadium on Yas Island. The stadium will have a capacity of 70000 people.

The solution approach is based either on eliminating the differential equation completely (steady state problems), or translating the partial differential equations into equivalent ordinary differential equations, which are then solved using standard techniques such as finite differences.

The flexible pavement layers reflect the deformation of the lower layers on to the surface of the layer. If the lower layer of the pavement or the subgrade is undulated, the flexible pavement surface gets undulated. The important components of the flexible pavements are (i) Soil subgrade (ii) sub-base course (iii) base course (iv) surface course.

The conclusion from this study states that individual airlines use a figure of 80% for the total quantity of CO2 that they assume can be saved by aviation biofuels as compared to conventional fuels and that biofuels are carbon neutral. Moreover, aviation biofuels can lead to more difficulties than fossil fuels, which are intended to replace.

The waveforms in alternating current will have the negative component but after rectification, the wave will have only a positive part as the direct current moves in only one direction. The lab experiment generally led to the attainment of the above results and graphical presentation. The paper “PID Modeling and Level Control of Multiple Liquid Vessel”  is the opposite option of a math problem on engineering and construction. In order to investigate the behaviour of shrinkage and creep of HSC (high-Strength concrete), concrete design cast specimens of strengths ranging from 100, 95, 90, 80 and 60MPa were investigated for shrinkage and creep strains.
