Four relationship states are distinguished nowadays, “happy and stable, unhappy and stable, happy and unstable, unhappy and unstable”. The balance between selfishness and sacrifice is needed to save a relationship and, of course, the commitments become an intention in the question of continuing the relationship. Three kinds of commitments are recognized: personal, constraint, and moral.
