With ten years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language, I must say that it is essential to connect theories of language learning and acquisition.
In part two of this paper, the paper will seek to compare how the grammar points in regard to the Present Perfect have been both treated and explained in two standard grammar books. The grammar textbooks that are used in this paper are: English Grammar, by Collins Cobuild and Essentials of English by L. Baugh’s.
