Transfer to the College - Essay Example

In this regard, after contemplation and reflection, I have decided to transfer from Penn State to your prestigious and reputable educational institution.             It is very imperative that an individual should receive a comfortable and soothing environment that can support his learning process, and the absence of such provision often results in the failure of even the brightest students. In this regard, my stay at Penn State was quite uncomfortable in terms of non-provision of the environment that may support my learning process.

Although the college was able to offer significant academic opportunities; however, a number of factors discouraged me in acquiring these opportunities, such as the majority of commuter students in Penn State that did not allow me to interact with people socially, which is very imperative for individuals to develop socially before stepping into the professional market. Additionally, co-curricular activities are an important phase of human lives, as it is very significant that students should participate in non-academic events, in order to concentrate more effectively academically.

However, Penn State was unable to provide such activities, specifically on its premises, and I had to walk miles to participate in different games that were discouraging at all. It is my feeling that even the academic aspect of Penn State is appealing, but the college lacks adversely in the provision of a good college experience. In this regard, it is my utmost desire to become a part of your reputable institution, as I have conducted extensive research on your institution, and know that your college will facilitate my academic, as well as, social development in an efficient manner.
