Lecturer: The essay below involves the comparison of two major training s in the United s of America. Both learning institutions offer various programs to its students. The Broward college is a school that has diversified training in courses ranging from Business, Engineering, health, information technology to mention a few. On the other hand Miami Dade Collegespecializes in training in areas centering around justice which include, forensics, criminal, fire science and more.

It has 8 campuses in the country teaching various courses. A successful training center must have a good orientation process in order to be able to welcome the new students and integrate them into the school system. Both institutions have different methods toward orientation but the anticipated goal is the same. Miami Dade College has invested a lot into orientation with a fully functional student center and online orientation programs to ensure that new students are catered for appropriately.

Broward college on the other is an institution that encourages personal contact with the staff through asking questions and attending forums to ensure transition in the college.Notably, both institutions allow the transfer of learning, the Broward college allows the students to transfer from any other colleges and join their college after producing the relevant performance documents. Unlike the Broward college, the Miami Dade college only allows students from selected colleges to join their institution.

Both institution’scourses are relevant in the aspect that they provide courses that meets the country’s employment niche. The Broward college goes an extra mile to propose internship programs for their students, but the Miami Dale College seems to lag behind in this area. Comments from students state that Miami Dale College staff lacks the appropriate decorum to address student issues unlike the Broward college where there are good reviews on the service provision.

Miami Dale college (2013) states that employee relations ensure that the rights of the employees are protected and also that the rules are followed in the latter. Both institutions uphold high employee relations. This trivially is the key towards better organizational performance and service delivery. Both institutions have a set number of employees that govern and delegate activities in the colleges. Broward college has a couple of employees ranging from the Finance, academics, procurement and library departments.

A clear path of information dissemination is set, either being vertical or horizontal. Both companies have a clear set of rules set to govern the operation and functioning of the employees. This ensures that in case of breach of contract the employee is punished in accordance with the laid down rules. In the event of a misconduct towards the company or the company breaches the employees’ rights. Broward college has a clear set of mitigation rules set to ensure that the employee is compensated.

In case of a conflict of interest between the employees the Miami Dale college has a clear set of conflict resolution measures to solve the debacle. Both institutions ensure that such cases are investigated accordingly before a conclusive decision is made to ensure that the rights of both the employee and the organization are considered. Therefore the management comes up with clear decisions on whether to terminate the services of the employee or retain them.

Clearly both organizations embrace fairness as one of the important virtues towards a company’s success. Since both institutions are mandated with the role of shaping up future employees. They should lead by example in respecting the rights of employees.
