Corporate social responsibility has been seriously considered a significant part of business leadership and in meeting the stakeholder’s expectations especially the conscientious consumers or investors who wanted to maintain a Socially Responsible Investment (SRI). Thus, corporate social responsibility entails more qualified employees and sustaining corporate political interests to meet accountability and responsibility. Significance of the Study             This study is imperative to contribute scholarly studies on corporate social responsibility and how the companies’ empirical experiences support their endeavours to gain corporate credibility and integrity.

It will also facilitate the fulfillment of academic achievement for this researcher as a learner.  Nature of the Study             This qualitative study is also aimed at exploring the theoretical lens of corporate social responsibility within the lens of strategic business management. Qualitative research is an approach of exploring and understanding the meaning individuals or groups or organizations ascribe to a social or human problem which may have involved emerging questions, procedures, and data that are collected in a specific setting and are analyzed using themes in the interpretations of the information (Creswell, Plano Clark, Gutmann,  & Hanson, 2003, p. 209). Researchers that are involved in this inquiry honor an inductive style, a focus on individual meaning, and the importance of rendering the complexity of a situation (Crotty, 1998, p. 4-12).  This qualitative narrative and descriptive research is also a strategy of inquiry using peer-reviewed resources to substantiate deeply the experiences and accounts of companies about how they go about corporate social responsibility as a strategy to improve its corporate image and relation with the community where their business operations are undertaken (Crotty, 1998, p. 4-12).
