But, these classifications may or may not be psychological or biological, but without vexing the description further, it is necessary to provide the sociological outlook of what gender actually is. Therefore, in my perspective, with reference to sociology; gender can be defined as ‘the pattern of social order in which males and females are born with predictable, allowable and esteemed responsibilities and opportunities with reference to social processes like; decision making, socializing, learning, teaching, planning and development, and prioritizing’.
