There are also societies that existed in the past which were not democracies but were characterized by capitalism. Some examples include such countries include South Korea under Park Chung-hee and Chile under General Augusto Pinochet.
John Howard’s regime introduced industrial reform, which included the introduction of the “Workplace Relations Act 1996” and the “Workplace Relations and Other Legislation Amendment Act 1997”. These legislations provided a strong foundation for workplace reforms. The government led by John Howard also introduced tax and economic reforms.
