The concept of ethnocentricity is particularly useful for the analysis that I seek to do. Ethnocentricity argues that the representation of indigenous culture by outsiders must be done with a view to portraying them as they would see themselves as. Thus, the concept applied to the Inuit is that the portrayal by outsiders should be analyzed.

Humanism generally applies to the predominant intellectual and social movement that was active during the fourteen to the mid seventeen century. Renaissance humanism deserves the credit for ending the middle ages and leading the humans to the doors to the modern era. The philosophical school revolves around the idea that humans are rational beings.

Americans believe that their heritage is not a part of family traditions but it is considered that American culture has evolved in time with several other cultures united together. Haitian culture is also a part of American heritage now. Haitian culture or Haiti is an independent and oldest black republic in the world. The people of the Haitian culture are mostly of African descent.

Edward Said, being a Palestinian himself, understands the core issues in the Middle East better than most scholars in the west. The beauty of his argument is his balance in this regard. On one hand, he says that holocaust was essentially a European affair and Palestine had nothing to do with it so they are sufferings for the crimes of Europe.

I had read a long time ago, “When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford” – Samuel Johnson (Quotes, 2010). I have heard a lot about the different cultures and the diverse lifestyle of London and was very keen on going down to see this beautiful place.

The effect globalization tends to have on the many different cultures around the globe. In light of these, some factions argue that globalization promotes cultural individuality while others claim that it promotes cultural sameness. I always had suppositions that when interacting with the different cultures all you need to do is learn the differences between this culture and always pay attention to how they behaved. This paper tells that foods in Malaysia vary from different flavors, color, and texture. I noted that the food is readily available and in plenty.

The educational and cultural developments since the 1970s in the Bahamas have radically redefined its cultural outlook and identity. The educational system of the nation underwent drastic changes since the 1960s. Secondary education was ensured to the majority of the Black population and scholarships were provided for the Bahamians studying abroad.

Despite the different communities, they seem to have a standardized culture and customs for easier interaction and communication within themselves and between strangers. The fact that their socialization has led to intense intermarriages has led to lessening of the strict cultural differences and uniting towards one culture and customs.

Abdel Wahab is a 50 years old Saudi National, he was born and brought up in Dammam one of the largest cities in the country, his father had three wives and he was the firstborn of the youngest.   The aspect of adopting a culture different the family’s culture is common in the modern world. Notably, there exist millions of cultures in the world, and with globalization, individuals have adopted changes in both technology and interaction grounds an aspect commonly referred to as civilization.

Music and dance are of much importance in every culture. The central characteristic of Caribbean culture is the music and dance elements too. The Caribbean music and dance integrate well with each other. Dance, of course, is always associated with music and is the custom in Caribbean culture.

Arab countries, from parts of Asia to the Northern part of Africa are mainly the countries in which this rich vast culture is evident. Although I live in the United States, I have not forgotten where I have come from. My religion, food, family, and culture are deeply rooted in Haiti. Although my family came to the United States for greater opportunities, this never impacted my feelings about my culture. I am Haitian.

This paper features a particular culture or race. Here African American means the people having an ancestral line in the population of Africa. Donatello’s David comes in marble and iron. The marble David is more of a historical figure. This figure is the boyish character from the Bible clothed in Shepard's clothing. The iron David is a haughty nude with a blade slung over his shoulder. Verrocchio’s David is a warrior dressed in Greek/Roman garb.

The two movies presented in chapter two identify that Sami people survived by fishing and hunting, but are currently surviving by herding reindeer. Reindeer have become their staple food, and it is commonly eaten fried or stewed during special events. These events include Easter and Joiking, which is the act of singing yodel-like song-poems. 

The author elaborates on the diversity between the Japanese society and American society in regards to their perception to hip hop music. In the process, it explains how culture and music that originates halfway around the world is appropriated and remade within the Tokyo clubs and the recording studios.

Chinese Americans are immigrants from China and other countries that are known for their prevalence of the Chinese Diaspora. Chinese society that living in America is the largest foreign community outside Asia. This essay describes the cultural identity of Chinese Americans, which includes the self-perception of their nationality. 

Mythology is the study of myths which deals mainly with gods and supernatural since it is associated with religion mostly. Most of the myths are false stories or traditional stories which are associated with the cultures or religion. African culture is one of the best examples for the association of myths with culture.

The themes that are highlighted in this documentary are related and basically revolve around how Britain was entering into a new era of a new relationship with the rest of Europe. The movie, therefore, looks at informing the young generation of the past development and aid in their development of the self-identity as a Briton.

The author focused on communications that take place in an intercultural environment or relationship. When communication takes place in such environments and relationships, it comes with its benefits and challenges. The most emphatic aspect of the chapter was the challenges associated with communication in intercultural relationships.

The author explains that in the US, the White House was designed to serve as a mansion for the nation’s President.  It was designed to be impressive in terms of size and stature, befitting the importance of its chief occupant.  However, it is far smaller than the castles that held the reigning monarchs of the nations of Europe in the same era.

The author states that modern popular culture has essentially changed the beliefs of the youth today because they are now thinking ahead of their age and have become more talented than what their forefathers were up to in the yesteryears. Modern popular cultural texts have a major impact on society.

The statement, however, also develops a more abstract philosophical debate on how culture has evolved in respect to where it has been in contrast to where it currently stands. Globalization has occurred because of how migration has occurred throughout history, rather than just through the impact of England as a conquering nation that transformed, oftentimes through destruction, other regions of the world.

The cowboy hat originated from the rough riding cowboy horsemen of the arid and desert regions of the United States. If one were to wear a cowboy hat in countries that do not have such desert environments, such as France, Denmark or Germany, among others, then the individual would be thought of as having a cocky, go-getter and brusque personality.

One of my favorites is their stews and soups which they cook by boiling berries, meats, and vegetables. The way they prepare their soups is very different from how other Americans prepare theirs. American Indians cook soups in pots and over fires. At times, when they want to make the soups hot they put heated pebbles into the soup.

Mexican cuisine has evolved. However, corn remains the most common ingredient in Mexican food and has persisted during that time (Blaxland, 2012). Mexicans have learned to prepare many dishes while including corn. In particular, cornflour remains the central component in the Mexican food. Not only does corn for in preparing a variety of meals in Mexico but also candy.

However, due to the love of this dance, it was later enhanced in both France and Russia to become a concert dance. It is believed that when Catherine De Medici (Italian) married King Henry II of France this is when the ballet was introduced in France. Ballet capitalizes on turn out which refers to the standing position of the legs.

One good example is the fusion of Muslim and Hindu cultures when Muslims came into the subcontinent. Muslim influences were adopted by Hindu culture and vice versa, for example, the architecture of both cultures shows how the two different cultures with different religious beliefs and practices interacted with each other. 

In the work of Hamlet (2011, p.27), the Afro American culture has been of utility in resisting racism, by setting a platform in which various aspects of the culture can be discussed. The culture of African Americans comprises of the sayings, proverbs and other aspects that educate on the way of life by the African American culture.

People from different parts of the word have gone similar struggles during tough times such as wartime. There are differences among the different cultures that are part of America and their native lands in which many current American citizens came from. Two cultures which struggled in the past different battles are the Irish and the American Indian cultures.

The paper discovers the Culture, Fashion and Region. The term “fashion” is usually related to clothes and accessories, such as earrings, necklace, and shoes. Presently, majority of people associate fashion with the type of things they wear. Although fashion is used as a broader concept, in the recent years it has been narrowed to apparel, accessories.

According to the author of the article, the issues of cultural differences can be featured in two main ways. Hence, the first aspect is the American culture versus Ugandan culture. On the other hand, is the concept of Sexual minorities, which include LGBT versus the sexual majority.

Mergers and acquisitions were the primary recourse that organizations took to counter this threat, and to survive and grow in such an environment. This concept which began to be the ‘in thing’ in the corporate world, began to take off during the early 1990s and is now seen as the easiest way to counter competition and grow.

The producer of the movie describes how he went to Tarim to get spiritual nourishment and connect with his creator.

This has led to an increase in the number of foreign investments within these countries. Despite this rush for foreign investments, these three countries each have a different culture and any foreign company that wants to be successful in their operations has to adapt accordingly to these cultures.

The themes that consistently arise include the power of the gods, separation among men and animals and life is made possible through the dividing of the earth into land, skies and the seas. Likewise, the issues that were seen to arise consistently included considering fire as analogous to some sort of power that should only be accessed by the gods.

This event gives one week of filming over to promoting projects for support from the audience and from the cast members and staff. A television show that was based on giving opportunities to a few hopefuls in order to launch singing careers now spends a portion of its time and efforts on supporting charitable causes.
