I would like to describe three basic theories of globalization: world-system theory, world culture theory, and world polity theory. The modern world system originated around 1500. However, there always have been scandals centered on important public figures from the time man started living in organized social life. The scandals of socially important people were hardly reported as frequently and widely as it is today.
However, one specific event leads to another conclusion in the history of America’s involvement in international political affairs. Since the end of the Second World War and during the continuous political dispute presented by the Cold War between the Soviet Union and the United States, Vietnam’s society is continuously besieged by military and political chaos.
Another important task at hand would be to mend the socially and politically divided factions through dialogue and confidence building measures. This would require strengthening of all the democratic institutions of the country and uphold the rule of law.
A country may make these efforts on its own…or…in conjunction with a supporting financial program from the International Monetary Fund…” (Cline & Weintraub, 1981:1). The IMF has been around since the earlier part of the 1900s and has gone through much controversy and trials and tribulations in its time, and its new approach to economic stabilization has stirred up a whole new pot of opinions and critical observations.
According to US commentators, Globalisation is strategically a successful manoeuvre for redemption of existing system.
