The purpose of this study is to bring to fore some of the questionable and perhaps unethical activities undertaken by the employees of this firm coming right from the top management, down to the field sales team. A cursory perusal of this case points to some of the ethical deficiencies in various activities undertaken by this commercial juggernaut.
Orientation is a type of training offered to new employees to help them adapt to their new jobs and employers. Increasing employee integration with the job through orientation throughout the first 90 days gets people skillful and makes them feel part of the company “team” and “orientation that is well administered may augment employee retention rates by as much as 25%”.

Reducing employee turnover has significant profit implications, which can rival the other productivity efforts being made by an organization (Phillips, 2002). Turnover has to be addressed strategically, analyzing the reasons and correcting them. All employees should have career development facilities (Career Development, 2003), rather than being viewed as expendable and replaceable resources.
To investigate thoroughly how important the role of technology in human resources management is, this study will attempt to answer the following research questions:
What are the obstacles to implementing information technology for human resources systems in organizations?
What are factors for investments in the HR technology system?
What are the benefits of technology in the human resources system?
The scope of this research is limited and so it is felt that using some of the existing instruments relating to Organizational Structure may not be appropriate. Knowledge of existing measurement elements, however, can be useful in crafting an appropriate instrument to meet the goals of this research.
Orientation is not completed one time. Rather, since it constitutes employee training, it should be continuously done by people who have the responsibilities. Business organizations change plans and necessarily new plans may require new skills and new attitudes. Orientation would need to be continued to live with these changes.
