Personal mastery reflects the ideas that individuals use to manage themselves and their self-development. Mental models involve the individual`s conceptual view of the world. This conceptual view might need to be revised as changes occur in the world.  

I worked with the director of allied health and developed a business case to justify the introduction of weekend staff for Allied Health (very challenging – excellent experience). Also, in Black town Hospital, I worked as a clinician across Nursing Prepare, Medicine, and Allied Health for the roll-out of Activity Based Funding (change in hospital funding model).

Based on the clinical research findings, it can be noted that babies born with severe and profound hearing impairment but given cochlear implants before they are two years of age perform well in mainstream schools compared to those who receive it later in their lives. Although research indicates that cochlear implants can damage the inner ear, causing the auditory hearing not to function post-operatively.

In any country, the number of possible public matters or problems usually exceeds the ability of the government to address them. The proponents of any such issue, therefore, must try to win a position for it in the decision-making process. While one dimension of power is being able to sway the decision-making process, it is perhaps even more vital to have a say in setting the agenda.
