Centre Mass Media and Communication Media platforms play a great role in public relations. There are various media platforms that are currently used in the public relations. Nowadays there is a lot of the social media use that has impacted greatly on the public relations. For instance, Facebook has changed how people communicate and how information spread Samworth Brothers Company. Facebook has an advantage of spreading information very fast to many people. The company has been its information among its large number of over seven thousand workers.
Twitter is another platform that is currently used that has changed the public relations Samworth Brothers Company. The speed of sharing information is faster with Twitter compared to the means that have been used before. The use of Twitter has changed the earlier prevailing relationships between the PR teams, the journalist and the Samworth Brothers Company. The use Twitter in Samworth Brothers Company gives the consumers an assurance that they cannot get unwanted information, and their concerns are usually addressed appropriately and timely. The use of Twitter is quite faster.
Another media platform used in public relations print media that entail magazine and the newspapers that are used to give information to the public in the Samworth Brothers Company. The information is gathered and written in the printed platform and distributed. The information is detailed, but this type of media platform has various shortcomings compared to the Facebook and the Twitter. Some of the drawbacks are that the information is one way; there is no provision for the comments or inquiries. The platform is quite slow in conveying the information to the customers.

Media relations are common in public relations plays an important role in the campaigns. The public relations center their function to the media interaction and the relations. The material of the public relations will only be published by the media if the information contained commercial to the media.
Segmentation of the public helps in tracking the process of the public relations. The tracking of segmentation public is much easier and informs the people on new forms of behavior. In UK Fuels Company, they have grouped their outlets according to the regions that help in ensuring close supervision.
When the PR professional segment the public relations, they ensure that they satisfy the customers. When a small group is addressed, there is a greater concern for all the details that are affecting the targeted group. In Doncaster Company, the company has a group of experts who research on the market trends and ensure that the company attains the needs of the customers.
The segmentation of the public ensures that the PR professionals gain a competitive advantage in the market when they have delivered to their customers at the right time. In Samworth Brothers Company, its growth is attributed to its segmentation. The segmentation has helped the company to gain a competitive advantage over its competitors. Segmentation helps the PR professionals to get the value for their efforts in many ways. For instance, PR reaches the targeted group with fewer efforts and without much cost.
