The report is produced as part of the integrated project module that required a description of the engineering services provided to the client. In the description, the design choices made have to be critically analyzed. The execution of the project is divided into five fundamental parts. 

Support for the 6.5km extension is included in the Mayor’s Transport strategy, the Transport for London (TFL) investment program, and the London plan. It is also included in different master plans and policy documents for the redevelopment of the London Riverside part of the Thames Gateway.

The proposed project is the construction of four office buildings on a site located in the townland of KILLAGOOLA, about 13.4 KM from Galway city. The site is located in the land of Killagoola, 13.4km from Galway City. Assessment of site conditions and the following reports have been made; geotechnical report and structural scheme report. The geotechnical site report gives a depth analysis of the ground condition, soil condition, and behavior under cyclic loading and the soil parameters.

However, it is perfectly large enough to meet the requirements of all the necessary architectural activities that have to be initiated. The development planning and assessment would open grounds for full development after holding a discussion with the respective county council.

Aluminum alloys falling under the 2xxx, 6xxx, and 7xxx series that can undergo welding have been developed to serve these requirements. This twelve-week experience makes me conclude that engineering design aims at solving problems. The existence of a problem or issue marks the beginning of coming up with a solution design. Then, research will be conducted with that respect to determine the best possible solution.

These topics derive their importance from the fact that they provided us with a context to execute the project.  After the class, each selected group member proceeded for conducting research on the weekend regarding the following week’s activity. This was the first week of my experiment or final activity this semester in the Introduction Engineering Design with Mr. Valli. 

Its scope is only limited to the very basic challenges that every country can face. It does not include specific issues such as the technologies needed in nuclear power reactors.
