I compared my findings in Chinese market with Michael Grajeck's results in Poland. Although I find strong network effects in the Chinese market and the result reveals that consumers choose to subscribe to the operator with a larger consumer base other things being equal, unlike the Polish case, I cannot distinguish the networks effects and competitive effects, thus I fail to specify the effect of compatibility.
