Understanding the Mind, Brain, and Behavior Name Institution Abstract The brain is a complex medium that requires a greater analysis in order to understand its functioning. It has tow sides, and each side controls and serves different functions (Knecht et al, 1999). People are also aligned with different sides, and scientific research has shown that lateralization varies across ages, and gender (Barsalou, 2008). The research has outlined the concept of language lateralization, and how it varies across gender, and age. It has also show that right brained individuals are subjective, intuitive, and thoughtful while the left brained are most of the time objective, logical and analytical. Lab analysis was applied to conduct the evaluation among different participants from different sex groups (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). The experiment showed that, lateralization varied across gender, and age. Key words: Brain, language lateralization, age, gender, right brained and left brained. Understanding the Mind, Brain, and Behavior Introduction Modern studies on language based lateralization and vocalization was initiated by Wernicke, and Broca, and they are regarded as first scholars who introduced the understanding of how language functions are controlled by the brain based unilateral left hemispheric. Some of the proposers suggested that speech is a form of result which results from the brain synthesis and operation of neural signals (Knecht et al, 1999). All these signals must be interconnected and linked with vocalization analytical tools. It is not exactly known how the brain works for speech but studies reveal that holistic and noetic approaches should be applied systematically to enable generation reliable answers to questions. Age has been noted as a variable on which language lateralization depends on although no correlation between the two variables has remained a challenge to be solved. In addition, language lateralization depends on age, family history, pathology, and environment (Knecht et al, 1999). Knowing brain neurology, and cerebral language lateralization frameworks result from carrying out studies on patients who have developed significant brain lesions. This enables behavior changing individuals to reorganize cerebral functions of human brains to align with the normal lives. The reorganization is necessary because it helps young children and people with such illness to copy up in schools, societies, and to exchange possible suggestions in workplaces. Questions such as “can you make a good or clever consumer of market foods” depend on many factors such as perceptions, imaginations, values, traditions, and cohesive harmony between correlated factors. Scientific theories have been put forward and positioned to drive changes and understand how different people of different ages, genders, religion, and lifestyles think about their environment, and education set ups. The research that was conducted sought to identify the core elements that drive perceptions and interpretation among male and female stakeholders. As such, comparisons have also been made to gauge and see the degree or level at which dependent and independent variables exist in the contemporary world depth analysis of the need to understand the mind, brain, and behavior. Different consequences or results in research or case studies determine how people end up changing their way of lives to adopt new schemes in business or education sector. No investigator has ever known the brain works among people (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). The brain comprises of many complex aspects and which at all times have the capacity of analyzing matters of life and challenges differently from other people. People are born and raised up in different regions and varied traditions. In order to understand these variations, a harmonized approach should be utilized to check the performance of female and male activities with relevant to hard work, results, creativity, innovation and being honest to corporate standards. Just like Zappos, value of services provide to clients are considered throughout all sectors, and departments while also making demarcations not to mix perceptions, hallucinations, and thrust within the brain (Barsalou, 2008). Language also shapes thoughts of people, and stakeholders in the business world, or classroom settings. This, therefore, challenges cognition and perceptions among individuals. Klemfuss and other researchers outline that language and verbal reaction or tangible cognition vary among individuals and it depends on whether a person has a cognitive mental ability and if the brain is well coordinated (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). This is because an individual’s ability to analyze things is called the mental ability and its relevance in the current interpretation society depend with the level at which the mental exercise has been done. Psychology of the brains and mental interpretation or cognition varies among individuals, gender and age. This means that people would always try to perceive things according to what they have been taught or according to what they learned in their previous lives (Barsalou, 2008). Tradition, beliefs, and social analysis levels also positively impacts the society and there are great reasons as to why unified standards of interpretations are needed. However it has not been known how brain size is related to one’s ability to interpret and conceptualize ideas in our human environment. The brain should be free from stressed scenarios, or anxiety in order to sustainably understand what happens in the contemporary world. Occurrences are many, but people become anxious when such occurs while others become more energized to attentive and sometimes they get shocked before understanding the occurrences later in life. As time goes by, the memory of past events improves and it reaches a level where events starts to repeats themselves at either a constant or randomized rate. The memory is practiced and after sometimes, it becomes part of human development. In learning, memory is considered to be the chief pre-requisite, and without its presence, the learning process gets crippled (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). Hypothetical overview The brain computes everything it receives in the form of neural circuitry, and its speed, relevance is significantly oriented on how the neurons are interconnected. In the past, the neuron interconnectivity was underestimated, but the current scientific methods have outlined that several neurons are highly interconnected and coordinated in systematic ways. The recent studies reveal that if acquired information is heavily stored in neurons, then the interpretative machinery must also be within the neuron (Barsalou, 2008). The question on how people perceive probabilities still makes a large part of scientific research. The earlier studies and understanding outlined that the brain updates its capacity or relevance to interpreting or conceptualize probabilities in life, but this should be done on continuous trial on trial platforms. Probabilities can exist as constants for a very long time but their associated trials changes rapidly. Neurology has deviated away from normalcy and there have always been need to understand what happens in the neuron-world. For example, currently, the brain has been redirected to accommodate different faculties and entities such as the methodological make ups (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). The university is considered to have a well and sophisticated interconnected from of neural networks and which helps in understanding or interpreting the academic world. The fields include neurolaw, neurophilosophy, neurofinance, and neuromarketing. However brainwashed individuals have loose and broken down neural networks. False memory also arises from the brain interpretations and memory make-ups (Barsalou, 2008). In a broad spectrum, use of language helps us to share our perceptual thoughts, experiences, and intentions with other people (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). Our use of language guides our cognition levels and reveals our intentions towards other people, and the immediate environment. It is also clear that the language used during communication affects human thoughts and thereafter memory. In addition, linguistic labeling serious challenges when decision making is done on coloured objects and images (Barsalou, 2008). This is because colour interpretations are different amongst people and religions or language and the following hypotheses might be true Reaction time varies across age and gender The reaction time varies with prior experience on verbal analysis and memory trials Females may react faster than male, but all the reactions depend with the environment and outlying factors. Methodology Participants 163 participants were selected randomly and were randomly tested for viability and relevance. The research procedure or protocol was followed according to the University’s institutional research review board. All the participants were considered and confirmed by giving them the class credit as legal and valid participation permit (Barsalou, 2008). Procedure Right words and nonwords and left right words were selected to form the basis for evaluation of the impact of language on perceptions and how language or perceptions affected response to some important happenings in the current world (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). After selection of the right words and non words, the 163 participants were selected randomly to identify them and comprehend their meanings. As this happened their corresponding reaction time on right words and nonwords was measured and recorded. NW was used to denote Non words, RT for reaction time, and RW for right words. The participants were selected randomly and their reaction time was also noted at different times. Participants of all ages were considered and the average of all their ages was estimated at 19.975 years. The criteria for gauging their reaction time on different words were done randomly in order to reduce the effect of the outliers or minimize the effect of validity in order to get a representative value. In total 104 female participants were selected in combination with 59 male participants. The combination was considered healthy and sustainable because it becomes easy to compare the reaction of one gender against the other (Barsalou, 2008). Results It was evaluated that the average age of all participants stood at 19.975 years and the average for female participants was 19.647 years while that of male participants was 20.5689years. The reaction time for all genders varied greatly between the left non-words and the left words. Reaction time of female participants on right words was estimated at 554.332, and 615.058 on left non words (Barsalou, 2008). Significantly, the male reaction time on right words was 618.79, 615.08 for left non words, and 624.274 for left, right words. However the average reaction time of all participants on all left, right words was 618 while that of left non words was 625.157. Discussions Evidence from the results reveals that men are more vulnerable to language lateralization than women and the trend has been varying also across people of different ages. Teenagers for example are more accurate with reference to language lateralization than their counterpart in old age range (Barsalou, 2008). While men are more vulnerable to language lateralization, the same scenario varied randomly across women with the evidence more aligned with the young and teenagers compared to old people. It was also realized that many males suffer from the experiences of language lateralization, and that the effect had high magnitudes in men than in women (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). It was also revealed that various cases among men and women are associated with inheritance rather than induced by lifestyles and life encounters. This means that the case is so diversified because its case is dominant among many entities and that its effect varies with age, gender, and victim’s background. Language and speech vary from one individual to the other, and it also varies with gender, age, perceptions and prior experience. For example in the experiment, it is clear that male candidates recorded the longest reaction time to understand or give answers on what they thought was right. The longest time recorded for male participants was 2260.03 while females were 2150.9. This means that female participants responded fast to what they knew was best for them or what they deemed could be the right answer while men took much time to understand and compare their thoughts before they could choose an appropriate answer. Still, the reaction of men on right words was calculated at 618.79 while that of women stood at 554. 332. Comparing the two values reveals that, the neural process among women was so fast and their reaction in daily lives is faster than that of men (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). When things are right, they responded to changes or alterations at a much faster rate than men, considering that men makeup most of the percentage of bread winners and family responsibility, the answer could mean that men have been modeled to respond slowly because their neurons have many things to compute and evaluate, and thus their low speeds or extra time they needed to make choices (Barsalou, 2008). The reaction time for left non-words among female participants was estimated at 615.058 while that of male participants was recorded as 615.08. The town values indicate that the negativity in life has almost similar impacts on female and male, but female candidates or participants responded slightly faster than male participants. Because this gap analysis is because; female took the shortest time to understand their position and, therefore, the reaction comes faster than their counterparts. The way female perceives normal activities and occurrences in the world varies with their counterpart male who takes much time to evaluate their positions and the impact of their answers on the assessment criterion (Klemfuss, Prinzmetal & Ivry, 2012). The hypotheses did not keenly evaluate what brings out the differences in analytical capabilities among individuals and, therefore, there is further need fro future research. Conclusion Mental ability to analyze things and understand possible meanings varies across gender, age, and life of people. The experimental analysis outlined how reaction time could be used to gauge and assess the variability of mental conceptualization and cognition among male and female participants. Despite this, the experiment was successful but further research is needed to evaluate and determine to extend to which the reaction time affected normal lives of people and their position or roles in society. In addition, female and male reaction times vary in all environments and, therefore, the analytical framework in the psychological fields should be based on reaction time experiment in collaboration with other analytical tools.
