Analyzing Research Questions Analyzing Research Questions The attached appendix itemizes the research questions noted from four different peer-reviewed journals. As evaluated, the journals delved into addressing different research questions on either quantitative or qualitative research methods. The current essay hereby aims to determine if the research questions are good or poor questions based on one’s knowledge, understanding, and research. For the first article written by Bryman (2006), the research question was simple and straightforward and could be evaluated as good as it accurately defined what is to be pursued in the research.

Likewise, Plonsky & Gass’ (2011) research questions were detailed and clearly structured to indicate the extent of the topics to be considered and to be effectively addressed. Thereby, these are also considered good research questions.Rowan & Huston’s (1997) research questions were basic and general as it clearly provided the guidelines in conducting research using the qualitative method. The questions were straightforward, clearly structured and easily understood. Finally, Russell & Gregory’s (2003) questions were also good as manifested by the manner by which these are simply formulated and easily addressed.

Overall, the research questions noted from various qualitative and quantitative research are all good and effectively designed as these questions formed the theoretical framework for the study’s design and methodology. All the research questions provide guidance and direction to the researchers and assisted the reader in determining the findings and conclusion of the research. As such, the manner by which these questions were designed, formulated, and presented in the research assists the readers in appreciating the findings that were revealed through the course of the study.
