By definition TCKs are those children who were internationally relocated along with their parents as a result of some planned temporary or permanent migration. Relocation may be attributed to some other compelling circumstances however the reason of relocation is not that much important in the study of TCKs.

The news that Americans are driving less is not surprising. During the last three to six months the price of gasoline has been going up on a weekly basis. A person puts gas and by the time they put gas again a few days later the price has gone up. A piece of news from the article that was discouraging was the fact that gasoline prices are not going to go down even if the demand for gasoline does down because the demand for crude oil worldwide is going up.
