d. The hope that Lady Macbeth is referring to is the hope that Macbeth had about killing Duncan. Macbeth had been so sure about it prior to the banquet, but he is slowly losing hope in his ability to go through with the action. Lady Macbeth wants him to kill Duncan, and she has become uneasy that Macbeth might be changing his mind.
Deeper analysis makes it clear that the dominant theme of both tales is the concept of the social scapegoat. “The Doll’s House,” and “Desiree’s Baby,” both focus on the rigid conventions and prejudices which prevail in society and the unwritten codes of behavior to which people conform.
Romeo and Juliet written sometime between 1591 and 1595 by William Shakespeare in his early career as a playwright, is a love story between two teenagers. It is one of those typical novels that depict the tragic fate of teenage love and the brutal reaction of society and feuding families on two souls helplessly and madly in love with each other.
The first question that this work raises in my mind is the real value of heroism. If an individual is aiming to be a real hero, he or she must be aware of its consequences. His long-distance running skills bring him to the notice of the institution’s governor, who sees in Smith the opportunity for a public relations coup.

The most crucial aspect of the Enlightenment was the belief in the secularization of society where the church was to be separated from the state. The Enlightenment was spearheaded by the philosophes, who were scholars whose work gave life to this age.
