Author Robert T. Reilly’s book titled Red Hugh, Prince of Donegal is a very interesting historical fiction adventure story that is set against the backdrop of Ireland in the year 1587. This scintillating novel was first published by The Bruce Publishing Company in 1957 and was later re-published by Bethlehem Books in 1997.
Although she is well aware that she could do nothing to change her fate she continuously daydreams about “silent antechambers hung with...whose attention they all desire” and fails to get satisfied with her current life. Born in a poor family, Loisel considers it a mistake of the fate that she had been denied a better life.

The story shows what a black man feels when he is confronted with the issue of race and he is forced to lose his self-reflection.
The woman in the painting is very reluctant to make any eye contact whatsoever. I reckon that the painting portrays the man as the head of the family and a dominant force. The woman does not appreciate the dominance of the man and wants to put an end to the same.
In spite of this occurrence, Augustus Caesar who was the new emperor started instituting the new peace and prosperity era more particularly through promoting adherence to the traditional moral values of the Roman Empire. This hence brings about the importance of the Aeneid to Rome and the whole world.

Although the societal norms and customers that these seemingly disparate characters represented are seemingly far removed from one another, the fact of the matter is that there is but a subtle difference with regards to how these 2 individuals representing two different cultures interact with an understanding of moral convictions they represent.
An obvious feature of The Purloined Letter is its lack of pronounced mystery or suspense, for the identity of the thief, the manner of the theft and the motivations behind it are all openly disclosed. The only question is the exact place where the letter is hidden. The gravity of this question lies in the fact that the letter is a crucial document, upon whose access the Royal Lady’s illicit affair could be exposed.
This jealousy is given a voice towards the second half of the story, resulting in a shocking revelation. Edith Wharton, the author of Roman Fever, has effectively incorporated themes of friendship, rivalry, love and passion into her short story and she has effectively used irony and imagery in her short story to convey the plot effectively.
