3. This article will help me at AUD because (3-5 sentences) it has helped me reflect on the concept of diversity. As a journalist, one will have to deal with various delicate issues that involve differences based on race, gender and color. If one has a balanced view on what it means to be discriminated or marginalized, it will reflect on the insightful work s/he is required to do as a journalist. It is useful to know about one’s own identity and the layers of discrimination and privilege attendant to it. This will prove helpful when negotiating diversity in reporting issues. Read More
