Personal Description I am a highly focused person having confidence to find out ways for the different problems faced during the course of life. I am extroverted and self-motivated towards the task I perform. With the strong education support and efficient work experiences, I have been successfully developing my career. By efficiently nurturing my multitasking abilities, I have developed my skills in an efficient manner. Moreover, different experiences that I have gained in my professional life have enhanced my abilities to cater to the different needs of the professional domains in the present era. Correspondingly, my linguistic skills have enhanced my abilities to handle the linguistic labours. With enhanced experiences and skills, I am able to handle difficult issues that are likely to arise during my course of operation. My previous experiences gained from different courses in my career and educational life has enhanced my qualities to learn from operations and work with team. Psychometric Test Results Psychometric test enhances the ability to measures my skills and even provides me with a guided framework to identify my major weaknesses. The scores attained from the psychometric tests have assisted in identifying my skill sets and develop the same. Furthermore, the psychometric tests that I have undergone have enhanced my skills to work out my weaknesses and develop my ability to meet with the changing needs of the present professional environment (Jenkins, 2001). The psychometric analysis of the tests I have undergone reflects that I have a high score on the index. This even reflects that I have a greater accuracy towards understanding a problem. The verbal score I have achieved is 97 percentile, which depicts that I have a good communication skill. In addition, the verbal score signifies that I have the ability to communicate effectively as compared to others. Skills Audit With the overall assessments of the different tests, I have identified to possess satisfactory level of innovativeness. I can think critically and develop my abilities to meet with a given problem in an efficient manner. I can even effectively develop an accurate understanding of the different problems by justifying the factors related to the problems witnessed. Furthermore, with an increased ability to efficiently handle and develop well-presented communication ability, I am able to develop a better interpersonal relationship and even prevent situations of conflicts. The added advantage that I have obtained from the test is my literacy rate that is even likely to enhance my ability to cater better services to the organisation I will be rendering service. Personal SWOT Analysis SWOT analysis would help me to identify my skills and abilities in an efficient way. I would further develop my credibility to identify my major strengths and mitigate my weaknesses. The analysis would further enhance my abilities to meet with the competitive domains of the existing professional environment. The review of my skills reflects that I am highly focused on my tasks. I can efficiently handle the different challenging situations that arise during the course of my operations. With strong communication skill and leadership ability, I can develop an efficient career and enhance my credibility to handle different challenging situations. Furthermore, having an efficient ability to work in team, I can develop interpersonal relationship with the employees by motivating them to perform better. With an effective communication skill, I have an added advantage to get along with people from different cultural and linguistic background. However, one of the major weaknesses that I have experienced is my inability to tolerate the aggressive as well as irrational attitude of different individuals. This has often put me into adverse situations and has led me to situations of conflicts. In order to develop my abilities to meet with such situations, I have been working on developing the level of patience. I have been attending meditation classes to enhance my concentration and tolerance level. Furthermore, to develop my ability to meet with competitive domain in the present work environment, I have been continuously monitoring and updating my abilities as per the need of the current job market. Moreover, I have been enhancing my abilities to work better with the positive analysis of considering every threat as a learning opportunity. By identifying my skill sets, I have been efficiently enhancing my credibility to develop my career in the competitive field and accordingly, develop other attributes to meet with the dynamism of the professional environment. The charismatic leadership abilities have often enhanced my followers in terms of influencing them positively. This would act as an added advantage for the development of an integrated approach to meet with the overall objective of the organisation I serve. My workaholic nature and focused attitude is even going to develop my credibility to perform and enhance my ability to meet with the challenging environments. With the continuous development of my cognitive skills by enhancing the overall ability to perform, I have been able to manage my growth as well as development in the dynamic professional environment. By identifying the weaknesses, I have been effectively handling my weaknesses for developing my abilities to rectify the same and enhance the credibility of my performance. With a major threat of changing environment in the professional domain, I have been developing my abilities to meet with the same in an effective manner. Furthermore, the bi-linguistic abilities assisted me to meet and communicate with a larger mass. With the effective communicating abilities, I will be able to develop a better interpersonal relationship and enhance the efficiency of my team members to perform better. Leadership skills that I have attained during my previous working experience have enhanced my abilities to manage the diversified groups of workforce. With the effective development of the different attributes, I have been able to justify my actions in a logical manner and develop my skills to meet with the diverse challenges of life. Comparison Between two Industries I had worked earlier in various sectors in different positions that supported my occupational background. I have a strong occupational background has been proved to be one of the big advantageous factors in the professional field. My experience in different areas has been an advantage for me in performing my operations with better alignment to different workplace environment. Apart from this, I have obtained experience in the community service sectors and in educational sectors as a councillor. The community service industry is comparatively different from the educational industry. Both the industry I worked with is different from each other. The community sector is highly enriched with several charity services. Community Service Industry My career in the community sectors has developed my experiences in the local community services as an Arabic teacher. The community sector is a non-profitable organization, which provides helps to the needy people. People who wanted helps in several terms of aspect, the community centres provide them the minimum supports. Alternatively, the community service centres or the sectors work as a community for meeting the broad range of needs of the society. The community service sector provides the moral supports such as emotional, physical, social as well as spiritual support to those people who really needed the help. After working with the community services, I came to know that the community services are essential for modern and democratic society. Apart from this, voluntary and community service sector also provide medical and health care service facilities to the needy people. The community services have played a great role in building up the foundation of the social infrastructure. The main function of the community centre is to provide social security to the needy people. The community centre is mainly working as a helping hand towards the development of the community as a social benefit and in this regard, the community centres are as similar as non-profit organization. The community services centres are designed in such a way that the income support to all the young people of the society is offered (Kisker & et. al., 1999). The community centres are to build a program that will be helpful in assessing the people who are in need. The community centres support disable people who are living in the local community. The community centres create a support structure in order to strengthen the community’s capacity for providing support to the disable people for leading a healthy and sustainable life. The community service centres develop a community planning commission for coordinating the people who are engaging in to provide the services to the disable and their families for better social growth as well as development (State of Victoria, 2010). In addition, the community and the voluntary service sector are important for developing the civil society. Alternatively, I had to work in another community centre where I was assigned in a position of manager. I was in the front office desk position where I was responsible for hiring, supervising and training facility. I used to train people who are interested in serving the required people. The training included the children’s development knowledge process, family development knowledge process, community development knowledge process and self-development knowledge process. Education Industry The second industry I used to work is an education industry. The education sector is a one of the common sectors, which is considered to be one of the primary stages of an individual’s life. In this regard, the education industry is considered to be one of the most important industries that will be helpful in building up the student’s educational background. The job of the educational industry is to provide the basic education to all the people. The importance of basic education is to build a fundamental principle that will be helpful in generating peoples’ mental ability. I used to work in an educational sector as a councillor. My job responsibility was to judge the participants and their ability and accordingly, provide them with better educational packages. In this regard, I used to test the participants’ IQ test, which provided me with better ideas and knowledge regarding the students’ ability. The education sector or the school not only provide the educational basis, but it also provides proper guidance and moral support for having an effective understanding in relation to right and wrong. The educational industry not only provides educational support, but also strengthens the skills of the students in extracurricular activities. I also worked as a dance instructor, which also justifies the fact that the educational sector provides proper guidance to the students regarding building extracurricular activities. Scope of a Graduate in the Sector Both the educational sector and the community service industry are considered as important industry for social and community development. The community centres are considered to be one of the vast and growing sectors for the graduates. People who are well educated and have knowledge regarding social science, they can apply in the community service centres. As per the requirement of the community centres, the people needs to have an effective communication skill, which will be beneficial for strengthening the service centre. People who have completed their graduation in the business field can also apply in this sector for a better job prospect. To develop better career planning, the graduates are offered with different opportunities to be involved in social services for the benefit of a society as a whole. Contextually, graduate in business field are able to provide better ideas for building better community services. A business graduate will be able to build a better communal planning is required to team with the community centres. As per my personal experience, a huge working scope is available for people who are having their graduation in business administration. In addition, the graduates with better communication skill and technological knowledge are able to have better career prospect in the field of community service industry and education sector. In addition, graduates specialised in human resource study will have great opportunity in the community sector. As mentioned, I has been working in a local community sector as a manager with the responsibility of training, supervising and hiring people. In this regard, knowledge or educational qualification in the human resource sector will be helpful to comply with these job responsibilities very efficiently (California State University, 2012). The job role of a councillor in an educational industry is a very challenging job. In this regard, graduates who are skilled in psychological field will be suitable for counselling the children in the educational field. Graduates belonging to the psychological educational background will be able to judge students and provide them with a suitable study or educational background. In schools, children are facing several problems related to their development. Out of these problems, the cognitive developmental problems are considered as one of the major barriers in development of the children. To improve children’s growth and mental strength, the councillors need to identify the problem and the source of problems effectively. It is the responsibility of the councillor to eliminate the problems of the students. People who are having certificates in any extracurricular activities can also apply in the educational sector such as schools for teaching them extracurricular activities. Selection of Three Organization In my professional life, I have worked in several sectors such as in the community service sector and educational sector. In this context, I have worked as an operational manager in the boutique-consulting firm. This job prospect is comparatively different from other jobs that I have been engaged with in my life. As a councillor in the educational sector, I was responsible for providing proper counselling to the students who are facing any problem. Regardless of the fact that I used to work as a dance instructor in a school of Tower Hamlets, I have been able to enhance my knowledge to a large extent. This job prospect provides me a huge experience to work as a dance teacher. In this context, I was mainly responsible for teaching and providing dance training. In the local community sector, I was in the job role of a language teacher, where I used to teach students different languages such as Arabic and Bengali. Apart from this, I worked in a boutique-consulting firm as a commercial business manager or as an operational manager. The firm provided practical tools and training to the people for building up a workplace with effective environmental policies. In this regard, the company applied few service strategies to provide and promote its services to its customers. The company promotes its services by direct sales policies and by the promoting through channels partners. I developed and managed business projects by considering actual requirements of the clients and accordingly, distribute products to the customers. I used to manage the service agreements and licence contracts to the clients. I also supervise the IT projects and provide guidance for establishing the communicating proficiency in both verbal as well as in the written format. Apart from this, I used to provide training for developing leadership quality in the people. Strengths and Weaknesses As per the personal experiences, I would like to state that the people who are interested to work in this sector, they should need to be more skilled in communicating with clients. For this job prospect, the employers seeking for those people who have the leadership quality as well as have the skills to convince other for purchasing products or services. The strength of the employers, as it has provided a better job prospects to its employees as well as provide them fair opportunities to the employees. The employers of the educational sector are also having good cultural background. The strength of the employers is to provide variety and diverse educational qualification to all the students. Contextually, the schools are providing good counselling facilities to the students and make them confidents to do work in the near future. 3. Path to Attain the Goals Goals and Preferred Sector Roles I have always wanted to develop my skills and abilities in the different community services and opted to enhance my career based on the communication abilities that I possess. Correspondingly, my short, medium and long-term goals are to develop reasoning ability, communication and leadership skill respectively. In this context, developing of my reasoning capability will assist in having a better control in understating different situations, so that such situation can be managed effectively. Moreover, development of my efficient communication skills has been enhancing my abilities to meet with the needs of my career growth. The attributes increased my abilities to successfully develop my skills in the relevant field and enhance my credibility to meet with the dynamic environment. The sectors of Community Services and Education Councillors need severe communication and leadership abilities. By developing these attributes, I will be able to meet with the needs of these sectors. To meet with the specific needs of the sector, I will be able to develop my competitive advantage over my competitors and enhance my ability to perform better. According to my observation of the market, this is likely to provide the company with an added advantage as no other company is providing with such services. The company even plans to develop a chain of transports that would efficiently develop a transport system within the US. The company plans to develop a community services for the transport system within the country and enhance the credibility of the organisation to perform. I would even like to elaborate that the concept would assist in developing the Unique Selling Protocol (USP). In this respect, the company would be able to enhance its brand image in the relevant domain. It plans to develop an effective system that would provide the consumers with a better reliance notion on the company , which in turn would enhance its credibility to perform at large. The company plans to hire roadside mechanics with the intention of developing its credible advantage. In my opinion, the roadside mechanics even has a better idea of the routes that would develop a better attribute for the company to serve more people.
