The most popular Hardware products of Apple are the Mac computers, the iPod, the iPhone, and the iPad. Its software includes the OSX and iOS operating systems, the iTunes media browser, the Safari Web browser, and the iLife and iWork creativity and production sites. The word computer was removed from its name on January 9, 2007, which represented a shift in its focus towards consumer electronics, after iPhone was introduced in the market. Whenever Apple launches a new product, there is great excitement and fervor among the public and there are huge lines of people to get their hand at the latest Apple Gadget.

History of AppleAfter a brief association, both Jobs and Wozniak decided to team up and focus on a common goal. Whereas Wozniak worked to bring his genius in making innovative and outstanding machines, Jobs devised insightful strategies to market the range of personal computers and other devices designed by Wozniak. Thus apple computers were born. In the beginning, though, the basement of Jobs’ house served as the headquarters of the company. Apple computers created their first-ever computer on April 1, 1976.

The first computer was released under the name of Apple computer co. The initial yearsThe first-ever personal computer of Apple included TV as a monitor or medium of display. This was a revolutionary feature in its own right and was a first of its kind. Prior to that, none of the computers used a display. It was much faster than any such earlier machines and had a very easy startup feature due to its RAM and bootstrap coding. There was also a flexible hood, which provided a cover and an option to reveal the machine as and when required.

Steve bagged the first order for this machine from a local computer shop that bought 50 machines for $50 each. Both Jobs well as Wozniak, manufactured the machines themselves and supplied the same with sheer hard work and paying for them from their own pocket. At this stage, Steve Jobs invited and convinced Ronald Wayne to join his company. This was in order to bring valuable experience into managing the company. However, the association did not last long. After gaining a foothold in the market with Apple I and making significant profits, Apple introduced a new and advanced version of the Apple II.

This model became extremely popular due to its redesigned monitor interface, which handled the graphics and the colors in a much more sophisticated manner. The future endeavors of Apple required much more financial resources and thus they were looking for investors to invest in their business. The investments came from an investor named Markkula. Markkula was quite impressed with the design and business model of Apple as explained to him by Jobs; this made him invest a handsome amount of $92,000 and another $250,000 came as a bank loan.

Markkula had a long association with the company and eventually acted as a mentor to both Jobs and Wozniak.
