A desktop that initiates in a similar manner as any other computer in the same network, when users are required to roam around computers in the network describes a roaming profile. Thus, employing a roaming profile provides the advantage of allowing users to access different computers in the network, without the need for multiple profiles (Engineering 2007). According to Engineering 2007, for changing from users’ local profile to the users’ roaming profile there is the requirement for the user to log off from the profile the user chooses to employ.

This enables whatever changes to be written out of that profile into the roaming user profile and permit registry of the changes in the server. The roaming user profile can be found in the server-based user profile and needs to be installed in the local computer that the user may log on to. The capability of the server enables the copying of the new files into the local computer. This presents an introduction to the roaming profile. List of Equipment for the Demo:For the purpose of the demo, the following equipment has been used.
