The Ability of a Child in Language Use
Introduction
It is important to highlight that this is a data analysis paper that gives the information that is based on the data that is presented from a given field. One factor that is very vital to bring forth is the fact that critical and proper analysis requires effective skills that would otherwise be able to come out with the true picture of the actual data that is in question. For this reason therefore, it is very much in order for the persons who are involved in any form of data analysis to effectively use the required skills to produce the best of the analysis required. It is also important to highlight that this paper is analyzing the ability of a child in language use (Jerry,2003).
It is very important to highlight that the paper has been segmented into eleven sections to answer all the required areas as per the instruction in the Data set (Jerry,2003).
Question 1
Considering the way that the child forms questions that she uses in her normal communication, it is important to note that there is a general perception that the child has viewed concerning the language. This is on the tenses. According to the way she constructs her interrogative sentences, it can be clearly noted that the child uses present simple tense in all the cases this is evidence that the child generalizes that present simple tense is ideal for use at all the times during the conversation or action exercise. Still in this case, it can be noted that the child (Jerry,2003).
Question two
In response to this, it can be clearly seen that the child is having a different perception and generalization if compared to the first month of the conversation. In this, it can be said that the child is not using the same generalization with the view that the she is now making emphasis and stressing on various issues and persons that are addressed(Jerry,2003).
Question 3
It is important to highlight that the data in month two present additional information if put into consideration with wherever is in the first month. Under this, it can be noted that the data in month two are quite inquisitive and this shows that the child is growing much in the language. This is seen in the cases whereby the child is kind of asking a question and is making some kind of stress and emphasis on the person that she is referring to or the item that she is referring to. This is a case that there is advancement in he language of the child compared to the first month where the child was very much affected by the use of short and hanging sentences (Jerry,2003).
What comes out so clearly in the first month is that the sentences that were constructed by the child needed competition from another person? This is because the child made sentiments and looking at them if compared to the second month you can clearly and easily notice that there is a difference in the joining. This is because the second moth sentences were very much joined with the objects to effectively communicate and give the sentence the actual meaning that it deserves (Jerry,2003).
Question 4, The child’s use of ‘wh’ words
It can be clearly noted that the child as well know that the ‘wh’ words are used in the interrogation and asking of questions. Considering the way the child has used these words, it can be noted that the child has used them in a manner that clear depicts that there is the second and the third persons kin this conversation. This is because the child has used much of second as well as third person singular from the second month through to the sixth month. Considering the way they have been used, it can be clearly noted that the child has known the sentence patterns and persons (Jerry,2003).
Question 5, instances of past tense sentences from the sixth to the eighth month
In the sixth month it is so clear to say that the child is using the past participle tense in the communication. It refers to what had happened but not that long. In the seventh month, it can be clearly noted that the child is kind of so anxious and needs the sequence of how the item in question was obtained. In the eighth month, the child finds some difficulties in the coming up with sentences that are complex in their past tense form (Jerry,2003).
Question 6, the child’s development of knowledge
In this, it can be noted that owing to the fact that she is a child, this was an ideal reason that made her to make any form of sentence without putting in mind any grammatical requirements. This for example the case where the child asks,” What do you doing?”. This is a sentence that is not grammatically correct but she kept on making mistakes and correcting herself along the way. This therefore made her to know the language.
Question 7, additional evidence
The additional evidence that can be used to support the answer that has been presented in the sixth question is the case in the past tense in month eight where the child asks, “Did everybody saw some blue chairs?” thee is no grammar rules that have been applied in this case.
Question 8, the child’s use of time
It can be noted that in time1, there is a challenge I n the differentiation between yesterday and today. The problem can as well be seen that determining the exact time js the major challenge. In time 2,it can be noted that there is the omission that has changed the meaning of the whole sentence. The third time but the problem is on the using of the right word for each day or time.
