Anger Management Anger management is training for temper control and is the skill of remaining calm, temper control and delaying anger successfully. Anger involves both positive and negative aspects. The negative aspects are all familiar thinking which is becomes clouded, you may become overly defensive, and you might act on your anger in a violent or aggressive way (Feindler, 2006) What are some reasons why his behavior might be regressing?The idea behind anger management is not to remove all anger, but to manage it by channeling it into the positive aspects and away from the negative aspects.

The feeling of being hurt due to separation of his parents who are living separate in different states could be a source of anger, this could create a deep well that can create a stress build up in his life, hence have a passive- aggressive side effects. Additionally, resentment, it adds fuel to the flames and Keeps your anger burning a lingering feeling of frustration may remain for a long time which may lead to a more burden of unresolved stress. due to passive aggressiveness which brings the ‘poor me’ effect in order to raise his self esteem and feel also useful to the society he shall engage in violent activities like fighting (Schwarts, 2006).

   Is he ready to leave anger management counseling? The client is not ready to leave the therapy yet; he needs more session to help come into contact with the prevailing conditions at hand, and accept that it’s of his importance to try to control his anger (Schwarts, 2006).Suggest some strategies that you can use to help the client.The client has a lot of idle energy that need to be channel to better useful manner should be involved in physical activities like walking, swimming and riding, this will make him ever occupied and will have no time to think of things that trigger his anger.

Therapy to identify those things that trigger his anger should be identified this will help to avoid them when they come. The clients should be encouraged to have friends who he can play and talk to always when need be. Adequate time to relax should also be provided to the client connectively classes to educate the clients on the importance of anger management and enlighten him that it can only take him only to contain himself though speaking out his problems (Feindler,2006)ReferenceFeindler, Eva L.
