 Identity defines one's self-worth, who the individual is, and what kind of predisposition one has. Various books and novels portray characteristics that the reader finds to be novel, and kind and thus involve the readers through emotions, in certain cases the individual starts following the character depicted in the book or movie and correlates real life with the life represented by their role model in the novel or movie.

In certain cases, such perceptions provide a great impact on the developing conscience of the individual. This revolutionizes thoughts and outlooks as the condition of brainpower is full of strenuous contemplations. A couple of books called "Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents" by Julia Alvarez and "Farewell to Manzanar" by Jeanne Wakatsuki are two outstanding books illustrating the distinctiveness an individual possesses. To some extent the novels impose thoughts that changes the outlook and provide the courage to survive in a difficult situation.

The novels inflict how to maintain stability and comfort in tough times (Identity). I feel enlightened after reading the book called "The Five people I meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom, this made me feel how important my life is to me, what difference I made in my group, in my community, in my society and what am I contributing! It simply made me feel my worth, and my self-esteem and hence made me realize that everyone in the universe is important, everyone around me is important and what does not matter to me could bring a remarkable change in others' life.

It has changed my outlook and personality. I became more concerned with others, forgiving and forgetting what harm others have done, locating deliverance, the book has magical power as it has made me more concerned about the sufferings of others. All this helped me to adjust to a different environment as I am now an international student who is coping with a different cultural circumstance. I like to listen to songs to de-stress I, had enough experience of life and people as I have been visiting more places, and interacting with different groups of individuals belonging to different cultural and ethical backgrounds but above all, I feel there is a humane in every individual, it is the need of time we must respect individuals for their identity as it is being shaped by various factors.

I am addicted to watching TV as it aids in understanding the culture and traditions of the inhabitants their approaches and requirements. Being an international student requires a lot of adjustment and especially mastering the language and accent. Although it was tough for me in the beginning I never gave up! I am striving hard to adjust myself, to be a part of the new cultural predisposition. TV shows and reality shows are all helping me to understand things better. Perhaps, under such a situation my hobby of watching TV is now helping me to get an insight into the culture and tradition and how to behave in a newer environment.

As a student, at times I felt low in self-confidence, but after reading the book "Classy" by Derek Blasberg, my personal opinion and viewpoint changed significantly. The book has taught me how to believe in myself and be confident to reach the best possible solution to the problem witnessed. It has taught me to have a uniqueness that provides an enduring consciousness. The book highlights the quotes from almost every social predilection and thereby taught me how to accomplish personal identity to maintain a class.

Conclusion Every living being on the planet has an identity, recognition, and understanding towards others. Some may lead a life where self-worth is highly significant while others keep searching for their identity all through their lives. Identity is a manifestation of personality that is shaped and nurtured all through life commencing from birth. Good deeds are always appreciated and this becomes the identity of the doers while bad actions are condemned throughout, reading, watching, and perceiving happening around all contour the identity of the individual, paving the development of maturity and ways to react towards the imposed situations.

It is therefore essential to have an identity that is respected and appreciated, it could be shaped by having an insight into being a person of self-esteem and with awareness about what to say and how to behave, as this help an individual to survive and adjust even in a culturally different environment and yet to cope well. You never know what addiction or what hobbies could become beneficial in difficult situations but one has to learn the skills to be a part of any given environment as the achiever is the one who could survive in adversities and learn how to be a part of the newer environment.
