Intrinsic is the motivation driven from in within us or the activities and behaviors we engage in that arises from within us. When an individual freely engages in a task, chances are that they will do it to the best of their ability. They may not often feel good when doing them but at least external feedback evaluation will make them feel immensely fulfilled with their career. This motivation makes one work extra hard given that the working environment is positive. This is always welcomed positively by the people around them.

It comes hand in gloves with different rewards that narrows down to professional fulfilment, e.g. promotion and salary increment. Gaining psychological fulfilment is the ultimate feeling one can ever have when it’s about professional fulfilment.Performance is the act of executing ones duty. It’s not guaranteed that those specific duties will be done as per the expectations but at least intrinsic motivation makes one anticipate for a good performance. It increases ones dedication towards their jobs.

This motivation molds staff into success oriented people where everyone is focused in hitting their goals.ReferencesAchor, S. (January 01, 2012).
