Catherine Hakim argues that the emergence of a ‘new scenario’ concurrent with other tenets of preference theory, has resulted in constraint-free societies whereby choice becomes the dominant explanation for the changes in employment patterns. A longitudinal study, using quantitative data interpreted by Hakim, reveals heterogeneous preferences of women.
The societal violence in the United States has enveloped family lives as well. Violence creeps quietly and firmly into living rooms via television and its contents. This source misguides its viewers in adopting unrealistic and cinematic use of violence in real life situations in homesteads and outside.
By examining passages of this myth, it can be found that these three ideas predate our conscious knowledge of them.

Can the problem of a common man be regarded as the tragedy in its classical form The author of Death of a Salesman, Arthur Miller, believes that it is possible, and he is sure that a common man may be represented as a tragic hero, and he succeeds to prove his belief with the help of his play.
This problem is analyzed and presented with zest and reason. The book presents these problems adequately and explains the origins of the problems and how they got developed though it does not look at providing any solution for the issues.
The author of the book is a journalist and has been a resident of the Middle East, able to speak Arabic fluently; was instrumental in reporting back to UK some of the major happenings in the history of that region; including Armenian Holocaust and the Iraqi war.
