2. Define the Goal and Objectives of the Project: a. Quantifiable Goal and Objectives Quantifiable goal of this project is to attain 50 members of the yoga classes in a period of one month, who are expected to make a contribution of $100 as a joining fee and a monthly membership fee of $50; the objective of this project is to create peaceful, productive, conditions by use of yoga and mindfulness, which can facilitate improvement of focus in developing long term awareness of yoga.

On the other hand, this project can help in the improvement of focus on the significance of physical and emotional health. It will also provide a cost-effective and sustainable solution, which can improve preparedness to learn the positive transformation of school and culture. The other objective involves the utilization of basic tools, which can support wellness objectives and create a calm and harmonious environment (Namaste Interactive, 1). This project will focus on offering a healthy way of expressing and balancing emotions.

It will also promote relaxation and a comfortable state of being. The other objective involves presenting moments that offer basic requirements of learning and presenting a moment of connectedness among members of the community. b. Deadlines The project has a deadline that will elapse in a period of five months, whereby the team will have the role of undertaking various roles in order to achieve these objectives. In this case, the team will work in order to meet the set deadlines, and this will form a way of making the project relevant and timely. c. Overall “Purpose” – Why is this Project “significant?

” The overall purpose of this project is to establish a way of stress reduction, this project will derive from studies, which depict that yoga can assist in the reduction of stress and anxiety. The project is meant to enhance people’s moods and their entire sense of well-being. It is also meant to enhance fitness, whereby practicing yoga can promote the improvement of balance, flexibility, range, motion, and strength (WebMD, 1). Another purpose of yoga is to reduce the likelihood of sustaining injuries from physical endeavors during daily activities.

The yoga project is meant to establish a way of managing chronic conditions, which can assist in the reduction of risk factors that are associated with chronic diseases such as heart conditions and high blood pressure. In this case, this project can facilitate the process of eliminating chronic conditions, which include cases of depression, pain, anxiety, and insomnia. 3. Outline a Plan of how you intend to accomplish the Project a. Resources Needed (People, Materials, Financial) The resources that are needed for undertaking this project include people, who will involve members of the community that will join the yoga classes.

On the other hand, the project will require material guides that will be used by the members of the class and the instructor to guide the yoga class. There will be a need for financial resources, which will involve the daily contributions by the members of the classes in order to fund the project, whereby this will cover the cost of the rent, cleaning the facility, and paying the salaries. b. Elements of the Project The element of the yoga project include the process, which is referred to as postures or poses, which entails a series of movements, which are designed to increase the strength and flexibility of those practicing yoga; this element ranges from lying on the floor for complete relaxation to stretching up to physical limits.

The other element involves controlled breathing, which is a significant component of yoga; in fact, breath is considered a crucial source of energy in the process of practicing yoga. This project will involve controlling breathing, which can assist in gaining control of the body and mind. c. Timeline for the Project – including intermediate checkpoints During the first month, the team undertaking the project will focus on seeking, securing, and then preparing the facility, where these classes will be attended.

This will be followed by another month of marketing and the creation of awareness in order to seek initial members and instructors who will participate in these classes at a fee. The final step will involve monitoring the inflow and outflow of cash in order to determine the sustainability of this project and the extent to which set objectives have been achieved.
