The assertion about sight is merely the author’s own viewpoint and may be different in the opinion of others. The question remains that if there are two ways of looking at the world then which one is the correct? Is not that we look at things around us to learn from them? These are some of the questions that may come to one’s mind (Dillard, 1974). The second article entitled Ethics in the Age of Modern Photography written by John Long talks about the photos that are captured and further edited to represent the viewpoint of one school of thought.

A number of examples have been given by the author in order to set his thesis that in current photography practice, photos have to talk to the client rather than the words. It is due to this reason that guilty is shown and edited in the photos as he is pleading for life.
