?Leadership Task One Personal Development Plan My personal development plan is in relation with the organizational objectives, and this is the reasonwhy I find this development plan as being very comprehensive in entirety. The specific skills, attitudes and behaviors that I need to develop over a period of time include my understanding related with the work ethos. This means that I need to remain positive all this while and conduct myself in line with the changing requirements of the time. I must upgrade myself proactively to make sure that any shortcomings that I witness within my folds are taken care of in a related capacity. What is even more engaging is the fact that the attitude should be geared towards getting the task done rather than procrastinating till the last moment. I cannot afford to let myself as well as the organization down in any way because this is simply not in line with what I have envisioned for my own self. I will measure the outcomes through an approach that suggests how effective I have been during a period of time. The outcomes will be measured against the inputs that I have made for the sake of the organizational hierarchies. The activities that I need to undertake in order to achieve my development goals remain tied with how well I am able to decipher the elements of change (Lyons, 2002). This is because change is the only constant within the workplace settings, and it would be sound to state that I remain inclined towards creating a positive change within my entirety so as to reap rich dividends within my personal development plan. What is deemed as significant here is an understanding that my work ethos remain head-on and strong with the passing times, and that I do not lose track of the vision that I have set for my own self as far as the future is concerned (Richter, 2006). I would take care of actions and goals which are realistic because these touch upon the basis of success which is for the long term, and which shall find out where I am going wrong and what corrective steps I need to take so that my success is guaranteed. The actions and goals should be derived from the vision that I have set for myself. The time frame is very important because it shall make sure that I remain staunchly attached with the deadlines and that there are no hiccups as such (Heath, 1994). This will ensure that my management tasks are on track and there are no apprehensions that I need to take care of. My work domains would be bolstered because these would embody the basis of my success in the coming days. In essence, my personal development plan is hugely important for me because it sets the basis for my work realms, and thus establishes how well I am able to change the course of my professional life once and for all. Therefore the personal development plan undertakes all the relevant steps and processes which are deemed as significant from the workplace perspectives. Task Two Report Planning and managing work at the same time is difficult on certain occasions but for my entirety, this shall resolve quite a few issues as far as performance of work is concerned. I shall be able to plan out things and manage them in accordance with one another if I have the vision to set things right and that too for the betterment of the organization and indeed my own self. My personal perspective is such that I need to manage time in a very definitive way (Tannenbaum, 2003). This will make the task easier if I know for sure that time is something which will be managed in an able capacity and which shall be taken care of by my ranks. If I am doing things in a particular way without any hindrances as such coming to the fore, I will meet success and that too in an easy way. I will use the skills and techniques to make sure that I remain completely in line with the changing needs of the time, which are important with planning and managing work. Time constraints might be a problem that I need to take care of but then again these are pertinent factors which must always be considered. Since I have learned the skills and techniques for a long period of time, there is reason enough to believe that I must embody the basis of my success through hard work and the proper usage of these skills and techniques. Therefore planning and managing work remain at the heart of many changes that are taking place within my folds, though in a positive way (Duke, 2003). I shall always remain indebted to my seniors who have instilled in me the skills and techniques which have made me realize how well I can work for the sake of the organization as well as professionally for my own selves. I am certain that these elements would continue to remain strong within my folds because I have set out a very decisive pathway for my own self in the future. In order to develop productive working relationships, I must employ my skills and techniques to good effect. This is because the productive working relationships would embody the basis of harmony and success for not only my own self but also the organization. These working relationships would mean that the people to people contacts would increase with the passage of time, and it would also implicate for a better environment to foster across the board, as far as the organizational domains are concerned. The productive working relationships depend a great deal on how well connected the people are with one another (Fox, 2004). It also takes into notice what the human resources management department within an organization is inculcating. The top management’s role is similarly deemed as way too significant because it lists down how well the employees should coordinate and cooperate with one another. I know that my communication skills are as such that I can easily make-do with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds (Kaye, 2003). This gives me a position which is head and shoulders above the rest. What is most pivotal here is an understanding that the productive working relationships bring out value for the sake of the organization and that the employees reap the best possible results at the end of the day. This value is essential because it pinpoints the basis of strengths that remain hidden within an organization as well as its most prized resources, which are indeed these employees alone. One must remember that the employees shall always be the strengthening forces and I am no exception to this rule. I will be available to work at long and odd hours just because this will inculcate sound and productive working relationships (Caluwe, 2000). This will tell all and sundry how success will be envisioned and what the real strengthening forces are within the reins of a workplace setting. I am certain that this will set a nice precedent within the workplace domains and tell everyone that I am an individual who believes in creating productive working environs for the sake of all present at the workplace. My role as a productive force within the working environment would be ensured if I am firm in my commitment and if I do things in accordance with one another. What this will eventually mean is how well I am able to decipher the good things about the workplace and how well I maneuver the negativities surrounding the workplace realms. Ensuring a safe and healthy workplace is the need of the hour and more so when there is a lot of competitive activity around the industrial settings. I feel pride in telling everyone that I have always set the highest standards as far as my work manifestations are concerned, and these will be handled in an amicable way if I maintain the official decorum which is much needed within the workplace settings that I am a part of (Gannon, 1987). Since I communicate well, I will make sure that I get my message across through to the right people so that any ambiguity is taken care of, the sooner the better. Also I would work on polishing my other skills and techniques which I deem quite usable and important for the sake of all the employees who work within the organization and who wish to be a major force within the related scheme of things. I would do my best to find out ways and means through which emphasis would be on put on doing things the right way because this is the usual complying way of an ethical and moral workplace standard (Halachmi, 1996). In addition, I would find out how well I can talk things through to the people so that they can feel privileged and understand my nuances more than anything else, because I mean something very solid and long-lasting for the sake of the organization in the future. In the end, a healthy work environment is only ensured when things happen barring any fuss and when employees know their related roles without telling them again and again.
