Trade on natural resources, slaves and spices were introduced. As a result, Europe exploited America’s resources and grew tremendously. However, goods and diseases were exchanged between the two continents. This led to the spread of religion. Religion became intertwined with governance and was misused by tyrants provoking a wave or resentment.
After being kidnapped or lied to in Africa, it is unlikely that these slaves would feel any sense of loyalty to the Americans (Russell 13). However, as the events culminated toward the American Revolution, many black slaves felt that it was the perfect opportunity to demand their freedom (Russell 13).
