For example, national healthcare is based on a single-payer healthcare system while Obamacare offers a universal multi-payer healthcare system.

A single-payer healthcare system refers to a healthcare program in which everyone pays into a single fund controlled by an agency and the fund is then used to pay all the medical services, through the delivery of the care may be private. National healthcare would expand the Medicare program to ensure all US citizens are provided with tax-funded healthcare.
