Rationale for Admission in Mc Master Masters (M Sc) in Medical Sciences Program I am a Medical from Dow Medical College, Karachi Pakistan fulfilling the eligibility criteria for M Sc in Medical Sciences Program with a first class degree in MBBS (1985-1991) and PG in Ultra Sonography at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center, Karachi Pakistan (2000-2001) and have pursued a PG course in Ultrasound Studies at Institute of Ultrasound Imaging Karachi (1997). I have a MELAB score of 87 dated 20th January 2006.

I find my goals linked to the program that I have decided to undertake and have a strong belief that the program would add to my knowledge and enrich my career path. My Goals I wish to move up the ladder in medicine with a better exposure and opportunity for inter disciplinary knowledge in health sciences. I have about 8 years work experience in Civil Hospital, Karachi (Radiology and Blood Bank) and 1.5 years work experience in City Health Department, Karachi and want to enrich this experience by undergoing a professional study of Medical Sciences.

I desire to have a better understanding of the application aspects of bio medical sciences to give a better shape to my career interests. I aim at having a sound foundation with an in depth understanding of research and a study of different disciplines that are used for the study of human biology in health and disease. I aspire to have an expertise in critical disciplines of biomedical sciences. Reasons for Joining Masters (M Sc) in Medical Sciences Program I have gone through the details of the course and find it fit to match with my career aspirations.

The course gives the required exposure and helps in understanding of a specific area during the research project. It gives adequate understanding of different disciplines and gives a holistic view of the biomedical and health-related problems. It gives a wide horizon to have expertise covering basic as well as applied research. The education and training of the course provides a sound base to have expertise in a broader context of a particular discipline. Moreover, the competitive environment with students from across the globe gives the required kick start to give the best output.

A novel research guideline under the guidance of well experienced scientist acts as a motivation to perform and contribute to the biomedical field. The access to different seminars, symposiums, meetings, studies, discussions etc. give an opportunity for self grooming and provide multiple growth opportunities. According to my evaluation, the Medical Sciences Program provides me the required base for my career growth and a vision for a better learning.
