The Status of Immigration in Europe - Essay Example

 In order to survive, most migrants enter into marriage with the citizens in order to have access to the country’s resources and attain good welfare. Finally, there is a lack of clear guidelines and policies on migration and related issues. Russia interferes in the politics of its neighbors, which has resulted in widespread protests in countries like Ukraine.

It even led to skirmishes with countries like Georgia. Is Russia correct to keep its neighborhood under its influence? Is the United States still in a position of moral superiority to condemn Russian tactics? What are your views? Russia has been on the world headlines for all the wrong reasons during the past years. Its emergence as the mighty country has seen it interfere with the politics and issues of her neighbors at will. A recent one is the Ukraine crisis, in which to make matters worse, she warns the western countries against involvement in the Ukrainian crisis; thus, frustrates all chances of bringing the crisis to an end.

I think that the actions of Russia are uncalled for, especially interfering with its neighbor's political affairs. Every country is sovereign, and Russia has no right to keep its neighboring country and any other country for that matter under its influence. Maybe Russia wants to take over America as a superpower, but this does not give them the right to influence other countries or create conflicts as she does in most cases between America and European Union by leaking certain confidential information (Bohlen para4).

Armed with the latest weapons and nuclear technology, Russia is in a bid to become the next superpower. However, I believe that the United States is still the world superpower and Russia will not take over them anytime soon. Consequently, The United States is in a moral position of superiority to condemn Russian tactics that are based on violence rather than peaceful meditation. Possibly Russia benefits from the Ukrainian conflict and that could be the reason why instead of helping they just intensify the situation and frustrate efforts to bring the conflict to an end.

Nevertheless, I believe moral superiority will eventually overcome violence and unfriendly tactics employed by Russia.
