The Positive Lifestyle Centre carried out a range of workshop activities for primary school children. In a structured mentoring program, supportive individual works with youth to build a relationship by offering guidance, support, and encouragement to cultivate the youth’s positive and healthy development. Often, mentoring programs are designed around specific goals, such as academic achievement, career preparation, and behavior modification.
The evaluation aims to help make constructive decisions about a given situation, program, or project through a later proposal of intervention measures. Among other reasons, it helps make a reflection, gain insight, and about the subject which would help in a future change. The evaluation takes different forms depending on what is to be evaluated.
It's pointed out that the program is expanded in most public schools so as to provide special language instruction to these learners. In the period ranging between the 1997-98 school year, through to the 2008-09 school year, the number of English language learners that have been enrolled for the program in the various public schools.
This is due to the different characters of the students, their level of concentration while in class, as well as, the best approach to enable the students to understand what I was teaching in class. Some of the tactics I used in getting the children to learn and understand the numeracy class was brain gym, drawing arrows.
