Therefore, advanced strategies of dairy farming should be implemented with efficient use of lands as well as fodder in order to make an efficient economy on this area of farming. As a result, dairy farms are not making enough revenue from their practice to enable them enhance their business. Hence, cattle population is reducing in various countries around the world. However, in parts with adequate resources such as grass, manure as well as fodder, this practice is well developed since the cattle are well grazed. Therefore, there is need to maintain the natural resources so as to be able to maintain the farming practice, which will in return benefit the whole economical system (Orland). Conclusion In conclusion, dairy farming productivity has been reducing in some countries especially Switzerland. There are so many issues that all the counties need to consider in improving the practice of dairy farming. This paper has discussed about dairy farming practice II countries around the world. It has also outlined on the farming in Switzerland with relation to its culture as well as its history. The paper has addressed the economic side of dairy farms, what causes the effects as well as what should be done to improve the situation facing the farms now.
