Extract of sample "Roads of Arabia"

Over the last forty decades, archeologists working in various parts of the Arabian Peninsula have made various astonishing ancient art discoveries in this region. These discoveries have increased transformed the region in regard to the understanding of the historical contexts associated with the inhabitant. Roads of Arabia is a collection of over 200 pieces of ancient artwork that are currently kept in the Museum Asian Art Museum. Archeologists have indicated that some of these artifacts are as old as 2 million years: One of the oldest pieces of artwork in these collections is the gliding does that were used in the 17th century; gliding doors were used to grace the entrance of Ka’ba, which was one of the holiest Islamic sanctuaries of that time.

Additionally, Roads of Arabia features some of the of oldest human tools; it is a collection of ancient artwork that many people has been considered an exploration of the historical and cultural development of the Arabian society. Another eye-opening piece of ancient work featured in this collection is the al-Hamra cube: According to archeologists, this piece is a confirmation of the existing integrated Mesopotamian and Egyptian motifs into the religious dimensions of the ancient period. Roads of Arabia is also evidence that indeed there was a connection between Syria, Arabia, and Egypt owing to the fact that it features some artifacts i.e. ancient incense that was used in the three countries.
