affiliation: Paintings Willem de Kooning - Woman, 1951 Willem de Kooning painting of a woman in 1951 looks likes a pen on paper sketch. The painting is easily dismissible without any attention. However, with some little attention, a woman can be seen within the sketch. The woman within the painting has some protruding breasts which are covered by a short dress above the knees. I find the painting quite mystifying on the first look but with some little attention De Kooning’s works is easily seen.

The use of a blurred image and a lot of lines within the painting gives an impression of more than just the woman within the painting. 2) Arshile Gorky (14 photos) –Xaxor Gorky 14 photos are seen to be real life paintings capturing some real life situation. The photos which include painting of flower in vases, people and a table setting all seem to have been referred from a real situation. The use of many different colors and backgrounds gives a beautiful and colorful painting that has take note of very many details. The photos are mainly focused on a tree section, and the background appears to be misty or foggy.

The photos are taken on an elevated view focusing the sky as the background. The tree section appears to be dry and quite dark signifying a winter period. The white and mostly clear background give more focus on the tree section which is seen to be quite dark. An essence of nature and its effect are seen from these photos which make them look quite beautiful and natural. 4) Corey Egbert Illustration: Roy Lichten Corey Egbert illustration photo portrays a woman who is depicted with a cartoon appearance.

There is use of bright colors that are focused upon by the dark background. The photos portrays emotion within the paintings while maintaining a real life emotional situation, like the use if tears and facial expression. The photo also portrays a beautiful woman who makes the observer feel sorry about the tears from her eyes. From looking at the painting, I am able to blend in within the mood of the painting setup even without my knowledge. There is some good work applied on this painting. 5) One Dot At A Time, Lichtenstein Made Art The one dot at a time art is some colorful pictures which include emotions and feelings within the picture.

There is great use of color and perfect combination of the background. If checked closely, the pictures are seen to be formed by little dots placed and drawn in a picture to pull out a perfect picture at the end. The dots are quite small and cannot be seen unless a lot of attention is used. The use of text within the pictures is well descriptive of whatever is going on within the picture. The painting seems simple and with an easy structure, but they portray some details that need keenness to interpret and understand the painter real intentions. The paintings are seen to be characterized with a lot of edges and lines that are used to produce the art work. A lot of colors are used with some art work having a dull look while some having a bright look. Generally, the art out work is quite amusing.
