Moreso when Professor Jack warned that the polar ice caps have melted and put fresh water into the fresh ocean and diluted the salt level and cause the dropping of ocean temperature to negative 13 degrees that precipitated the re-entering of our planet ice age. There was also a drama to the movie “The Day After Tomorrow but it was only to show how extreme climate change can affect our daily lives that even Professor Jack, the expert on weather patterns, almost lost a son in New York when they were stuck during the onset of the cold spell.

Jack had to make a dramatic rescue illustrating that even an expert could not do anything if we enter into an Ice Age and that it will spare no one. In general, the movie showed visually what will happen to our planet and how it will affect us if extreme climate change will come due to our negligence.
