While the expansion of international tourism is a major feature of the process of globalization, the Arab world has long been a destination for western pilgrims, travelers, and adventurers Over time, tourism has grown as an international industry. It now represents one of the largest employers and items of trade in the global economy. While the bulk of this traffic is between the affluent societies of the industrialized North Atlantic, the 3%or so of the global flows which encompass the Arab world have had disproportional impact in enveloping the region in the global processes of tourism development In the Arab world today, while Western tourists still come in search of the region’s past, many governments are feverishly promoting tourism as a means to build their own economic futures. The argument posed by tourism boosters such as state elites, private entrepreneurs and international bankers is that the Arab world’s warm climates, sunny beaches, vast deserts, historical monuments, and native hospitality are some of the most valuable resources of the region and they should be exploited for the means of generating new sources of wealth. This industry has been touted as a means to help their developing economies adjust to the ever more competitive pressures of the global marketplace Given that we are international students from the Arab Gulf countries it is our duty to highlight our culture to the British community .This was the starting point in choosing the topic the group members to execute the analyzation of the current condition on the ground in the Arab word. The existence of Arab Vision.2015 was phrased by Qatar development management committee in 2003. However, it came to effect in June 2008. It was implemented by Arab citizens. The group was composed of; Ali Al-Mousawi, Mohammed Al-Attiyah, Hazza Al-Attiyah, Saleh Al-Marri, Hussein Ismail. Although it had excellent ideas, it had strengths and weaknesses to both the economy and the citizens. For example, the effect of establishment of the financial stability and risk committee has by greatly stabilized the plans of the committee. Secondly the enactment of the strategic plan has been a major landmark document for Qatar this is because it sets a basis of latest global thinking and regulatory of authorizes. The document also gave hope for economic development and improved living standards. The committee faced major drawbacks as not all the plans were executed as stipulated, this was a significant drawback in the implementation, individual judgments distorted the smooth implementation to achievement of the vision for a managed event. Our Vision Our Vision of the event to give a chance for the public to learn about falconry and give a general idea about the sport and its history associated with our Arab heritage and its history in the United Kingdom .Strengthen regional relations between Arab students and the college community was our main goal. Distribution of duties First meeting As a team, we saw it was essential to figure out the roles of the each and every member of the group and assign tasks for the project. The first meeting took place on February 2014 in the library, with the main agenda to pick an interesting topic and the distribution of duties. Do adequate investigation to obtain the best quality of the equipments to ensure no disappointment would occur, in the meeting there were items that were suggested that would be needed to make the event a success. These items had to be very safe thus I was obliged to ensure the health and safety of the equipments. Looking at the event day I would say that the success of it was due to preparations that we as a group took Hussein Ismail Being assigned the task of designer and decoration artist by my group, I had to visit the venue where the event would take place, and other areas of similar events so that I could have a plan in hand before the event day, this provide me with time to adventure. This really made the whole event be fun and joyful; I learnt strategic issues on where things would be placed and check that we have all that we need in the venue. I was responsible in making sure that the venue looks attractive as possible. I achieved my objective as the displays were eye catching at the correct height and to the college at large.
