Extract of sample "Love for Scrambled Tofu"

Given that I have been a vegetarian all my life, Scrambled Tofu is my favorite dish. I do not mind taking it more than three times a day. A Tofu or bean curd is a type of food made from first coagulating soy milk and afterward pressing the curds that have formed into soft white blocks. Those components relate to the different experiences that humans face in life that are meant to shape their lives. On the other hand, this type of food is believed to be a component of the Southeast Asian and East Asian cuisines. In this case, it is evident that it is a component of two Asian origins that have a typical character termed as vegetarians. Based on the fact that am from an African American origin, I feel more like tofu. This paper outlines how tofu can be related to real life practices and lifestyle. Tofu is the result of the interaction of different cultures in different generations. Having originated from parts of Asia, it has spread to other parts of the world where it is preferred by vegetarians. The spread of tofu is believed to have coincided with the spread of Buddhism since the diet was an excellent source of proteins required in the vegetarian diet of those that followed Buddha. Just like tofu, am dedicated to accomplishing my work. Am loyal to all those around me and have undying compassion to everyone in my circle. Like tofu is the source of many minerals in our lives, am enthusiastic in learning new things so that I may get the required knowledge to reach my career. Like tofu has essential minerals, I believe in straight-forward life style in order to succeed in life. Tofu’s low-calorie count is what gives it the large amounts of proteins. Also, it has high iron content due to coagulants used during its manufacturing accompanied by high calcium contents. This ensures that tofu is one complete meal for people of all ages. Similarly, my origins have instilled life virtues in me. Am an honest person and have come to learn that being honest costs nothing but can cost one heavily. Also, am a person full of integrity and hate to associate with people who are not straight-forward and live a short-cut free life. Notably, tofu is made from different coagulants that originated from different places and were brought together to form tofu in Asia and my different origins brought me to where I currently live and instilled the virtues in me. The essay shows that tofu is an origin of different ethnicities coming together to create one cuisine. Mongolians contributed to making of tofu by use of cheese. The Indian Import theory collides with the Mongolian theory since Indians were dairy keepers. Both gave one of the greatest components of tofu that is milk. The first two theories are a suggestion that tofu coagulation originated in China. Coagulation is yet another crucial component in the preparation of tofu. This resembles the diverse ethnicities that one encounters in life. For instance, after joining institution of higher learning, they meet people from all walks of life. Reason is, it is a point where these different individuals come to seek one thing; education. In joining such institution, every person is assured of attaining what they came for and this can only be achieved through studies. The different coagulants signify these different people that come to study. They come with their differences and they eventually meet in class, forgetting these differences and becoming the same thing at the end of their studies. That common thing is that they become intellectuals, and this can be compared to the thoroughly prepared tofu. To become an intellectual, one has to go through many tests, study smart and emerge as the winner. Losers never reach their destinies which mean that if one component of tofu gets spoilt, it has to be eliminated to avoid contaminating the rest. Tofu is very significant in my life since it resemble European Union. Both tofu and EU consists of different cultures coming together and forming one uniform part. Despite the different components that make them, they have managed to stand firm and face all challenges. For instance, when you go to the Western countries, tofu is prepared differently from the way the original ones were being made. However, the difference in preparation does not change it from being tofu to something else. It still maintains its name, texture and taste. This also applies to EU. It comprises of different states in the entire world that has different political, social and economic structures. However, despite these differences, these countries have managed to come together, put their differences aside and join each other for a given course. This teaches us that it is possible for to diverse things with different origins to come together and work together as one. Therefore, when humans shun away their differences and focus on their assigned work, they are bound to come up with a perfect product. It is wise for humans to acknowledge their differences and accept each other the way they are. This is one attitude that can eliminate most of the conflicts that we as humans experience in our daily lives. Similarly, it will help us in co-existing peacefully in every part of the world. I believe that my leadership qualities will reflect the potential I have to lead others towards a better future. I believe treating all people equally. This is because such differentiation has resulted into wars in many countries. I would urge everyone to treat the other as equals. It is also possible for human beings to accept each other just like the many coagulants that come together creating that sweet tofu. Read More
